    What You Will Do:

    Design minor electrical circuits and test and troubleshoot electrical, PLC, and electronic circuits used for machine and equipment controlTroubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuitsInstall electrical and electronic controls on machines and equipment by reading and interpreting schematics or blueprintsDemonstrate knowledge of electrical power and water distribution systemsPerform basic mechanical repairsPerform work associated with lower classification levelsDirect the work of others in lower classifications as neededDismantle electrical machinery and replace defective electrical or mechanical parts, such as brushes and armaturesInstall and monitor the performance of electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacementInterpret blueprints and work from sketches or verbal instructionsLay out, assemble, install, test, repair, and adjust electrical fixtures, apparatus, equipment, wiring, and new services, including panels, breakers, and conduitMount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures into position and complete circuits according to diagram specificationsRepair, install, replace, and test electrical circuits and equipment using appropriate tools and testing instrumentsPerform a variety of tasks as directed by the Group Leader
