    Responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage, and handling of large quantities of raw materials, intermediate goods, or finished products.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Operate pumps, valves, hoses, and other equipment to transfer bulk materials between tanks.Clean and sanitize portable tanks using approved methods and chemicals.Inspect tanks and transfer equipment for wear, damage, or contamination.Monitor transfer processes to ensure, accuracy, prevent spills, and maintain product integrity.Maintain detailed records of transfers, volumes, cleaning schedules, and safety checks.Follow all safety protocols, including PPE usage and confined space procedures.Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet operational goals. Monitor the inventory levels of all materials on each packaging line. Transport materials from the materials staging area and deliver to the appropriate packaging line, as needed, to ensure there are no delays in production due to inadequate supply. Ensure that all materials delivered to the packaging line are appropriately identified per SOP and GMP regulations. Confirm with the packaging batch record and any computer-generated picklists that the appropriate materials are approved and are delivered for the appropriate production lot. Ensure that all materials delivered to the packaging line are appropriately documented in the packaging batch record and associated picklists.Monitor inventory of Zone 1 gowning supplies such as shoe covers, hair covers, beard covers and gloves. Monitor inventory of general packaging supplies such as copier paper and cleaning solutions. Replenish materials, as needed.Manage the transport of in-process waste drums to and from the packaging area. Transfer in-process waste to the appropriate storage totes, once the material is appropriately measured, documented, and reconciled.When needed, perform the duties required at the assigned workstations on the packaging lines. These duties include, but are not limited to, visual inspections of product, manual insertion of product labeling, placing filled units in shipper cases, measurement and documentation of in-process waste, assembly of finished product kits, Re-inspections, and case weight checks/verification.Perform general housekeeping activities to ensure work area, materials staging area and packaging areas remain clean and tidyAssist with line changeovers/set-up between product lots to include removal/addition of materials, cleaning of area and packaging line, and cleaning of equipment.


    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Packaging Material Handler – Level II

    Use a lift truck to pull materials from warehouse storage racks per computer-generated picklists and place in materials staging area for transport to packaging lines.Remove finished pallets from the packaging lines/staging area and transport to finished product storage area in warehouse.Use and RF scanner gun to scan appropriate barcodes to record the entry of finished product inventory in the appropriate bin location in computer systems.

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.Applied math and measurement skills.Effective communication and teamwork.Recordkeeping and documentation accuracy.


    Education and Experience:

    High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.2 years Experience in industrial cleaning, bulk handling, or manufacturing environments.Ability to operate transfer equipment and understand fluid dynamics.Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.Physical ability to lift, bend, and work in confined spaces.Familiarity with OSHA and environmental regulations is a plus.Experience in cGMP environment preferred.     The Packaging Set up receives close supervision from the Packaging Supervisor and guidance from Maintenance Mechanics and Maintenance Management.     Familiarity with all plant equipment safety requirements.Working knowledge of company specific computer software (eInfotree, Blue Mountain, Antaresetc.)Firm grasp of cGMP and GDP methodology.Ability to find and follow all company SOP’s.Able to recognize unsafe situations and ask for help when they are found.Firm grasp of the proper use of all hand tools.Ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical breakages.Can complete line changeovers without assistance.Can complete basic machine PM’s with assistance.Operate and clean packaging line equipment.Continuously assess equipment in operation to identify and eliminate repetitive minor stoppages that affect lines’ output.Assist with SOP / Job Aids / Setup sheets development.Suggest redesign of equipment of procedural changes to improve packaging processes.Consistently escalates issues to more seasoned technicians for assistance.Log-in and complete all assigned SOP’s and compliance trainings in eInfotree.Perform any other tasks as assigned by Supervisor

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
