    Pacific Air Industries is seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate to join our Company.

    The Warehouse Associate will report to the Director of Operations & Quality. The work schedule will be Monday – Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. The position is responsible for performing general warehouse functions including receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders, and managing stock in the warehouse.

    Compensation:

    The salary range for the Warehouse Associate position is $20-25/hour.We are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices, adhering to California's employment guidelines and regulations.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Receive, load and unload trucks and put away stock.Count and examine received stock to verify completeness against shipping documents; check for damaged goods; maintain records of shortages and damage.Pick and fill orders from stock; retrieve stock in the warehouse.Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials and printing required documents.Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to the company’s organizational standards.Maintain inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing request, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer. May also assist in counting of physical inventory.Pack and ship orders.Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat.Organize warehouse andwork area for orderliness at all times.

    Additional Responsibilities:

    Sweep,dustand mop, as needed.Assist other departments as needed.May perform special projects and other duties as assigned or requested.

    Minimum Required Qualifications:

    At least one year of prior warehouse/quality experience.Prior experience in the aircraft industry preferred.High School diploma or equivalent required.Previous experience with operating a forklift is helpful.Must be authorized to work in the US and able to provide documentation as required by law.Must have reliable transportation to and from work.Good verbal and written communication skills.Strong organizational, time-management and mathematical skills. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Ability to read, speak and write in English.Highly dependable and reliable with a strong work ethic. Familiarity with data entry and basic knowledge of computer systems.

    Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

    This position works onsite in the Company’s warehouse.

    Work is primarily performed in a warehouse environment with moderate noise levels.Regularly communicate in verbal and written form and able to hear.Prolonged periods of standing and walking.Frequently utilize hand and finger dexterity.Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry items up to 50 pounds.Able to frequently reach with hands and arms, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
