Responsibilities:
As an Inside Salesperson, you will have a diverse range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Collaborating with sales and branch leadership to understand customers' requirements and provide suitable product recommendations and solutions.Delivering exceptional customer service by promptly preparing and submitting accurate quotations and submittals, ensuring personalized attention to each customer's needs.Coordinating closely with the warehouse team to ensure seamless order fulfillment and timely deliveries, demonstrating efficiency in meeting customer expectations.Serving as a point of contact for sales inquiries, addressing and resolving customer concerns or questions professionally and promptly.Maintaining meticulous records of sales transactions, ensuring accurate documentation of products sold and any additional administrative duties associated with each sale.Taking ownership of account management activities, fostering strong client relationships, and proactively identifying opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.Collaborating with the sales and branch leadership to increase plumbing product sales.Providing quotes for customers by collaborating with sales and branch leadership.Processing purchases and transfers as needed, while communicating with the purchaser.Regularly contributing to the whole sales team and providing counter sales support.Integrating and training existing employees on plumbing related products and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications:
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance of the job would qualify.
High school diploma/GED or equivalent education required. Under direct supervision, prepares merchandise for customers by promptly filling and packaging orders for will call or shipping.Receive and prioritize orders through supervisor-issued work tags.Retrieve items from inventory using manual methods and/or forklifts.Prepare materials for delivery or pick-up by customers, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.Verify the accuracy and timeliness of filled orders before delivery or pick-up.Complete bills of lading for materials being delivered to customers.Maintain organized files for customer pick-up orders, noting relevant information on invoices.Serve "Express Will Call Customers" promptly to expedite order processing.Assist with counter sales by entering orders into the system and pulling/loading orders.Foster a positive work atmosphere by cooperating and communicating effectively with customers, co-workers, and managers.Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
