    Position Summary:

    The Account Manager will support Oxford's business objectives to maintain Oxford as a preeminent source of high-end technical consultants. This position will identify and visit potential and existing clients, sell Oxford's technical consulting services, generate and negotiate job listings, and ensure quality customer service. The Account Manager will build, effectively communicate and generate production from a valuable database.

    Responsibilities:
    Develop sales opportunities by identifying managers at companies that utilize technical consultant servicesFollow up on leads from recruiters, consultants and user managersMake a high volume of cold calls as well as face to face sales visits to improve the quality and quantity of the databaseMeet or exceed established production goalsUtilize existing Oxford database and office records; networking; researching print media; and cold callingDevelop and maintain client relationships and ensure the quality of client manager database information through visits, follow-up calls and correspondenceSell Oxford's services, gather organizational information such as consultant usage trends and exchange market dataAssist client managers in defining their needs, advise client managers on methods to meet those need, and educate client managers on the Oxford ProcessIdentify job openings and qualify listings with potential and existing client managersDefine and establish the hiring process, negotiate rates, assignment terms, and credit terms with the client managersEnsure quality customer service by resolving all issues pertaining to a consultant's employmentAdminister corrective actions, work in conjunction with recruiters and management, terminate consultants and consult with corporate departments as neededComplete visit reports, visit summaries and listing sheets, and maintain Oxford database files in a timely mannerEnsure the timely completion of Consulting Services Agreements and credit checksAttend training meetings to develop sales and recruiting skills, exchange pertinent account information and develop account strategiesSource new clients with critical skills, contract usage and schedule visits to build client relationshipsMust have the ability to travel regularly to and from client officesImprove quality and quantity of visitsPerform administrative tasks and data entry as neededOther duties as assigned
    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in business preferredStrong ability to interface with all levels of the organizationExcellent verbal and written communications skills is a mustCreative, outgoing, energetic person with a demonstrable track record of exceeding goalsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentSolid analytical and problem solving skillsProven knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Previous experience working with applicant tracking systemsAbility to maintain regular attendance and work all hours as necessary or required

    Job Description:
    • Participate in the entire product development process from concept to production, with a strong emphasis on rapid prototyping during the concept and pre-production phase
    • Develop product requirements and translate them to system requirements with subsystem and part level design specifications
    • Design products and components that are easy to use, simple to produce, and practical to maintain
    • Perform rapid prototyping, assembly complex optical devices, and perform feasibility testing
    • Support a sustainable production environment with well-considered designs and rapid response to manufacturing feedback
    • Rigorously document part designs, assembly processes and theories of operation to support manufacturing and future designs.
    • Support an integrated engineering community by participating in concept and design reviews both within and outside of your discipline
    • Apply engineering and tolerance techniques to precision design requirements in the areas such as Optics, Mechanics, and Motion Control.

    Experience
    • Hands-on experience with fine mechanical and electrical assembly techniques
    • Experience with product development processes
    • Ability to drive projects to completion with minimal oversight
    • Highly proficient with SolidWorks, Simulation, and GD&T best practices
    • Experience working with optics and opto-mechanical designs is highly preferred
