You will focus on implementing, integrating, and deploying real-time audio pipelines on Android-based embedded systems.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Collaborate with a cross-functional software team to enhance the intelligence of our devices through the use of audio processing.Design and implement state-of-the-art audio signal processing algorithms for real-time communication systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate audio processing solutions into our product ecosystem.Develop system frameworks to debug real-time audio issues and support hardware tuning efforts.QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION
B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (Masters preferred).
EXPERIENCE
3+ years of industry experience in the conferencing, communications, and/or professional audio industry (5+ preferred).
SKILLS
WAYS TO STAND OUT
Acoustics & Hardware: Experience with audio DAW (e.g., Audacity, Audition), audio testing software (SoundCheck, HEAD acoustics), and a solid understanding of speaker and microphone physics.Android: Experience working with TinyALSA and Android Audio HAL.Simulation: Familiarity with Python or MATLAB to verify algorithm behavior or analyze audio data.Audio Domain Knowledge: Experience with beamforming algorithms. Experience with audio streaming protocols, codecs (Opus, AAC), and industry-standard communication requirements.DSP Fundamentals: Familiarity with DSP and experience optimizing and integrating existing solutions.
