    Job Title: Plat Coordinator

    Owens Management Systems, LLC has been proudly serving the Southeast Houston area for over 20 years, offering expert pre-land development services for both developers and homeowners.     We are seeking a knowledgeable, proactive, and dependable team player with leadership capabilities to join our team as a Plat Coordinator.

    Summary:   The Plat Coordinator will oversee and manage the platting and zoning process for various land development projects throughout Southeast Texas. This role involves preparing plats and drawings, submitting and coordinating documents with municipalities, and ensuring timely and accurate project completion. Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and knowledge of municipal regulations are essential. 

    Key Responsibilities:·         - Research zoning laws and planning regulations.·         - Coordinate multiple projects through all platting phases.·         - Develop and manage project timelines and checklists.·         - Draft and revise plats per municipal requirements.·         - Complete revisions within 3 business days.·         - Attend all relevant development meetings.·         - Assign and oversee platting tasks within the team.·         - Update project statuses in management software.·         - Communicate with clients, engineers, surveyors, and city officials.·         - Identify process improvements.

     Minimum Requirements:·         - High School Diploma or equivalent·         - 1+ year experience in subdivision platting (municipality, survey, or engineering)·         - Knowledge of City of Houston Chapter 42 ordinances·         - Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office·         - Excellent attention to detail and communication skills

    Preferred:·         - Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning or related field·         - Bilingual

    Schedule:·         - Mon–Thu: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM·         - Fri: 8:00 AM–2:00 PM
