Our Flag Football Camp gives young athletes the opportunity to learn and improve their football skills in a safe, non-contact environment while fostering teamwork and sportsmanship.

    Job Overview:


    We are looking for energetic, responsible, and enthusiastic Flag Football Camp Counselors to lead campers in skill development, drills, games, and team-building activities. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about football, enjoy working with kids, and have experience in coaching, teaching, or mentoring.

    Responsibilities:


    Supervise and instruct campers in flag football drills, games, and activities.Ensure a fun, safe, and positive camp environment for all participants.Teach the fundamentals of flag football, including passing, catching, route running, and defensive strategies.Lead warm-ups, drills, and scrimmages tailored to different skill levels.Foster teamwork and sportsmanship among campers.Assist with camp setup, cleanup, and equipment management.Provide encouragement and constructive feedback to campers.Monitor camper behavior and ensure adherence to camp rules and safety guidelines.Communicate with parents, fellow counselors, and camp directors as needed.Act as a role model, demonstrating respect, enthusiasm, and leadership.Qualifications:


    Passion for flag football and youth development.Prior experience in coaching, teaching, or working with children preferred.Basic understanding of flag football rules, techniques, and strategies (playing experience is a plus).Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work outdoors and be active for extended periods.CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).Must pass a background check.Perks & Benefits:

    Position Title: Game Day Referee Under the Lights Flag Football
    Position Type: Seasonal / Part-Time
    Location: Laytonia Regional Park, Gaithersburg, MD.
    Compensation: $25 per game, 4 games per week.

    Overview:


    Under the Lights Flag Football is a national youth league powered by Unrivaled Sports, offering a fast-paced, positive, and team-first environment for players in grades K8. Our referees are key to creating a safe, fair, and fun game-day experience.

    Primary Responsibilities:


    Officiate games for youth players with consistency and confidence

    Manage game pace, timekeeping, and enforcement of UTL-specific rules

    Call penalties, maintain control of the game, and ensure player safety

    Set up fields and check equipment prior to games

    Create a positive atmosphere by communicating respectfully with coaches, players, and spectators

    Handle disputes or conflicts calmly and professionally

    Report final scores and any notable incidents to the league director

    Requirements:


    Understanding of or willingness to learn Under the Lights Flag Football rules (training provided)

    Prior officiating, coaching, or playing experience preferred

    Must be dependable, punctual, and professional

    Strong communication skills and ability to manage youth athletes

    Ability to work outdoors and be on your feet for extended periods

    Evening availability required (most games are Friday nights)
