Our Beginning School is a Reggio Emilia inspired children's school. We are seeking dependable, flexible team members to join our substitute team as On-Call Early Learning Substitute Teachers & On-Call School Bus Drivers. We are hiring for muliple positions.
These positions provide substitute teaching support in infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms and safely transport children and staff on field trips, educational outings, and special events. Drivers operate a 14-passenger school bus. No CDL is required.
Qualifications

Must be able to:
Read traffic signs, maps, directions, and safety instructionsCommunicate effectively with children, families, staff, emergency personnel, and law enforcement when necessaryComplete required transportation and incident documentationLift up to 40 poundsEnter and exit the vehicle multiple times throughout the dayAssist with emergency evacuations when necessaryWashington State regulations require drivers to maintain a valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle being operated and a safe driving record for at least the previous five years. Drivers may not operate school vehicles if they have a known condition that could compromise safe driving, supervision, or emergency evacuation responsibilities.
Physical Requirements
Ability to work in a classroom environment with young children (infants–5/6 years) Frequent sitting on the floor, kneeling, crawling, squatting, bending, twisting, turning, reaching overhead/shoulder, and standing Ability to lift, carry, and safely assist young children (up to 45 lbs.) Finally, a passion for working with children and a commitment to their safety and well-being are essential qualities for the Bus Driver and Assistant Teacher position.

Position Overview
The Teacher Coach & Educational Leader serves as the pedagogical leader for both schools, supporting educators through coaching, observation, curriculum development, documentation, reflective dialogue, and professional learning.
The ideal candidate is an experienced educator who values relationships, collaboration, inquiry, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities

Enrollment & Family Engagement Coordinator

Our Beginning School is a non-sectarian, Reggio Emilia-inspired early learning school. Moai School is a Christian early learning school rooted in faith, relationships, and excellence in education.
We are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Education professional to serve as an ambassador for both schools, helping families understand our educational philosophies while supporting enrollment, family engagement, community outreach, and school events.
This position is ideal for an experienced Early Childhood Education professional who enjoys building relationships with families, representing the school within the community, coordinating family events, and helping families find a school community where they can thrive.
This is a full-time, on-site position. Reliable and dependable attendance is required.
Compensation: $26 - 33.00 per hour
Responsibilities
Guide families through the enrollment process.Conduct school tours and family information meetings.Build relationships with prospective and enrolled families.Coordinate family engagement events and open houses.Represent the schools at community events and outreach activities.Build partnerships with community organizations and local businesses.Manage enrollment systems, records, and communications.Create marketing and communication materials.Occasionally drive the school's 14-passenger buses (no CDL required).Qualifications
