About the Role
UnifiMI Industrial is seeking an experienced Product Development Engineer to join our growing product development team in Logan, Utah. Focused exclusively on the railway and transportation industries, you'll play a critical role in developing innovative fastening solutions that solve real-world customer challenges.
This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who wants to own products from concept through commercialization. You'll be involved in every stage of development—from engineering design and prototyping to testing, manufacturing transfer, and product launch. What You’ll Do
Product Development
Design innovative fastening solutions for railway and transportation applications.Own products throughout the full development lifecycle, including concept generation, design, prototyping, testing, validation, manufacturing transfer, and commercial launch.Develop robust 3D models and detailed engineering drawings using SolidWorks.Collaborate with internal engineers and external simulation partners to optimize product performance.Perform engineering analyses including stress analysis, finite element analysis (FEA), failure analysis, tolerance stack-ups, material selection, and FMEA.Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles to ensure designs transition efficiently from prototype to production.Develop and execute test protocols, analyze results, and document findings through technical reports.Rapidly iterate designs based on testing results and engineering feedback.Create and maintain engineering documentation in accordance with the Product Development Process.Support manufacturing development projects and product transfer into production.Collaboration
Lead or participate in technical projects from planning through completion.Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and customers to develop successful products.Build strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners.Present project updates, technical findings, and design recommendations to project teams and customers.What you Bring
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or a related discipline) with 7+ years of relevant product design experience, or a Master's degree with 5+ years, or a PhD with 3+ years.Experience designing railway or transportation fasteners, components, or similar mechanical products.Proven experience bringing products from concept through manufacturing and commercial launch.Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and Design for Manufacturability (DFM).Knowledge in forging, thread rolling, die casting, heat treating, surface coatings and/or CNC machining is sought.Experience performing engineering analyses such as FEA, stress analysis, tolerance analysis, and failure analysis.Proficiency with SolidWorks or comparable 3D CAD software.Strong project management and organizational skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project).ANSYS experience is a plus.A self-starter who enjoys solving challenging engineering problems and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.About Us

What You’ll Do
Manage and develop a team of marketing product managers and/or associates, providing clear direction, coaching, and accountability. Lead by example, actively contribute to campaign execution, content development, and go-to-market planning alongside your team. Build a high-performance, collaborative culture with a bias toward action and measurable results. Assess team capacity and drive hiring plans as the organization grows. Help govern brand consistency across OsteoCentric's medtech business and strategic partnerships. Serve as the voice of the customer, translating surgeon insights and market feedback into actionable commercial strategies and product recommendations.Help lead commercialization of new technologies through coordinated, cross-functional marketing plans. Guide clinical market education initiatives to support and strengthen brand authority and technology recognition in the field. [AF1]Lead the execution of integrated marketing programs across digital, content, events, and professional channels. Develop and execute digital marketing strategies including website management, SEO/SEM, social media, marketing automation, and performance analytics, ensuring alignment with enterprise brand standards.Develop awareness and engagement strategies aligned with commercial and sales goals. Use data-driven insights to continuously optimize marketing funnel performance. Monitor market trends, customer behavior, and competitive activity to inform strategy. Define and track key marketing metrics — brand awareness, engagement, and technology adoption. Ensure all marketing activities, promotional materials, and customer communications comply with FDA, global regulatory, legal, and company quality requirements, partnering closely with Regulatory Affairs, Clinical, and Legal.Report regularly to executive leadership, with accountability for marketing's contribution to brand and technology visibility.What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred. 8+ years of progressive marketing experience, including 4+ years in a team leadership role. A proven player-coach mindset, comfortable setting strategy and executing hands-on, including work outside traditional marketing scope when the business needs it. Experience in medical device or other regulated/technical industries strongly preferred. A track record of leading marketing product managers or similar roles. Strong foundation in brand strategy, product marketing, demand generation, and digital marketing. A data-driven mindset with strong analytical and performance measurement skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
