As a Senior Software Engineer on the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team, you'll design, build, and maintain secure, reliable, and scalable cloud services that power our global authentication and authorization systems. You'll contribute to the technical direction of key projects, write high-quality code, and collaborate closely with engineers across multiple teams to deliver impactful solutions. You'll play a key role in building distributed systems, solving complex technical problems, and ensuring that our IAM services meet the highest standards for performance, security, and operational excellence. NOTE: THIS ROLE WILL BE BASED ONSITE AT OUR NASHVILLE, TN LOCATION. NO EXCEPTIONS. RELOCATION MAY BE PROVIDED. Basic Qualifications BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience 5+ years of software development experience Strong programming skills in Java, Go, C#, or other object-oriented languages Experience delivering high-scale, distributed services in a production environment Understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, and system design Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience operating mission-critical, Tier-1 live services Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems. Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms such as OCI, AWS, Azure, etc. Knowledge of multi-region deployments and multi-AD/AZ architectures Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test-driven development Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, etc. Experience translating internal customer needs into prioritized features Experience with monitoring, observability, and operational best practices. Understanding of system security, authentication protocols, and compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, PCI DSS). #LI-KR4 Responsibilities As a Senior Software Developer, you will: Develop and maintain cloud-based identity and access management (IAM) services that are secure, reliable, and scalable. Implement new features and enhancements based on design specifications and collaborate with senior engineers to refine technical approaches. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in languages such as Java, Go, or C#. Participate in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting , helping to ensure high-quality releases and strong service reliability. Work closely with cross-functional partners (product management, security, and operations) to understand requirements and deliver impactful solutions. Support operational excellence by contributing to monitoring, alerting, and incident response for the services you build. Continuously learn and grow by staying up to date with modern cloud, security, and development best practices.
