Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Robotic Lab Technician to support our growing robotics laboratory operations. In this role, you will work directly with maintaining and bringing up robotic systems, inventory management, safety operations, and teleoperation-enabled workflows.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a lab environment, has strong mechanical aptitude, and demonstrates discipline in safety-critical operations. You should enjoy working with hardware, collaborating with engineers, and supporting the day-to-day execution of robotics development and testing activities.
As a Robotic Lab Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining lab readiness, enabling safe experimentation, and supporting teleoperation-backed robotics programs that contribute to OEM's broader AI and automation strategy.
Responsibilities:
Manage robotic inventory, including tracking hardware, parts, tools, and equipmentAssemble, reconfigure, and disassemble robotic systems and test setupsSupport daily lab operations, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and readinessMaintain and enforce lab safety standards, procedures, and documentationAssist with robot setup, calibration, and basic troubleshootingSupport teleoperation activities, including system setup and monitoringCollaborate with robotics engineers and operators during testing and data collectionMaintain operational logs and adhere to established safety protocolsPerform basic electrical wiring, cable routing/management, and routine power and system checks.Required Qualifications:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Teleoperation (Teleops) Operator to join our Robotics team. In this role, you will remotely control robotic systems using advanced interfaces to execute complex tasks, collect high-quality data, and support AI-driven automation initiatives.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional hand-eye coordination, technical aptitude, and the ability to adapt to dynamic environments. You should be comfortable working with cutting-edge technology and collaborating across engineering and AI teams to ensure operational excellence.
As a Teleops Operator, you will play a critical role in enabling robotic manipulation, supporting foundational AI model training, and ensuring safe fallback control in hybrid autonomy systems.

Responsibilities:
Operate robotic arms and mobile robots via teleoperation interfaces.Execute precise manipulation tasks for assembly, material handling, and data collection.Monitor robot performance and ensure safety, accuracy, and responsiveness during sessions.Capture and annotate teleoperation data for AI training pipelines.Perform basic setup, calibration, and maintenance of teleoperation hardware.Collaborate with robotics engineers to troubleshoot issues and optimize control systems.Provide feedback on UI/UX for operator experience improvements.Maintain operational logs and adhere to safety protocols.Required Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).Basic familiarity with Git, Bash and PythonFamiliarity with robotic systems, kinematics, and control principles.Experience with teleoperation platforms.Strong hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.Ability to perform fine motor and repetitive hand/arm movements for prolonged periods while operating teleoperation interfaces.
