Market Medical Director Job Summary
The Market Medical Director is an important part of the our Health leadership team. The physician in this role will be responsible for leading PCPs in their neighborhood of clinics, which may include some clinical practice alongside their physician colleagues to remain close to patients. They will also have mission-critical leadership responsibilities, including setting an example for high-quality primary care, serving as a leader, mentor, and coach to providers in our Health centers, and providing input on critical organization-wide strategic initiatives.
Role:
Compensation: Base $280,000-$300,000
Bonus: 25% of base salary
Will cover all clinics in the market b/w 3-5 clinics depending on the market
Timeline they can start ahead of the new market launch. Start 2 months prior to market opening
President of the medical group
As company is growing can lead to other roles there will be opportunity for growth.
When opening new markets, the MMD will be involved in opening a center.
The MMD will fill in the Gaps seeing patients. The established markets will be more administrative.
Overseeing clinical operations & working with the VPs of operations.
They would be able to open up these clinics and see patients as needed until they are at a place where they are solid with growth they can provide more administrative oversight
