Unpack and sort inbound frames and lenses to appropriate in-house trays or ships to various external labs as necessary
Routinely check products on order for delays or back orders and communicates and resolves order issues
Inventory control functions including assisting with stocking lenses, sorting and distributing trays, pulling lenses, and performing cosmetic inspection and restocking as needed
Assist with ordering lab supplies, working with vendors for all consumables; troubleshoots issues/problems, and creating lenses for glasses
Assist in efficiently moving work through the department
Maintain company safety standards
Maintain a clean workstation

Under general supervision, perform tasks to ensure proper janitorial and light maintenance of production and office areas.

Responsible for cleaning/sanitizing the production area, including equipment, break room, restroom and office area of the Lab
Mop or sweep production area and office areas
Responsible for stripping, mopping and buffing production floors
Dispose of all trash bins in designated receptacles including recycling receptacles

With minimum supervision, act as a working lead while providing lead support to the overall lab functions. Coordinate the workflow to ensure unit performance is maintained.
