As we continue to grow, we are seeking skilled, enthusiastic, and professional Part-Time Dog Groomers to join the team in our 5-star, high-end dog salon on Newbury Street. Our Groomers bathe, blow-dry, trim nails, and perform breed-standard styling and clipping on all kinds of dogs. Experience with dog grooming is essential, as is the willingness to undergo additional training in our unique products and techniques as appropriate. This is a stepping-stone opportunity for an ambitious person who loves dogs and is seeking a career in a sophisticated, emergent brand.

Bathe, condition, and dry dogs with products appropriate for skin and coat typeEnsure that all dogs are safely monitored at all times throughout the grooming processGroom and style dogs according to owner preference and/or Spa Manager instructionsMaintain a clean work environmentMaintain grooming tools and equipmentInform Spa Manager or dog owner of all health concerns that may be observed during the grooming processSafely de-mat and de-tangle coat using appropriate toolsPerform additional pet hygiene practices including nail trimming, tooth brushing, and ear cleaningUphold all policies, procedures, and grooming guidelines set by OnyvaBehave at all times as a member of the Onyva team, demonstrating respect and compassion for the grooming team members, physical spa space, and customers (dog and human)Job Requirements:
