    OneBlood is looking for a motivating leader in the Charlotte area as a Donor Recruitment Supervisor role. The Donor Recruitment Supervisor supervises the recruitment of blood donors in a defined collection area, assists with all Donor Recruitment activities in a specific geographic area and is accountable for attaining pre-set production goals each month, and for efficiency of drives.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Recruits, develops, organizes and manages blood drive accounts in assigned areaOversees daily scheduling of blood drives to ensure an adequate supply of blood at all timesDevelops and maintains donor recruitment programs and expansionsEnsures staff compliance with blood center’s recruitment policies, procedures and regulationsRepresents blood center and/or acts as spokesperson in community when necessary.

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

    Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.

    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND DESIGNATIONS:

    Valid driver’s license and clear driving record.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.Ability to speak, write, read, and understand standard English.Ability to perform tasks effectively utilizing digital technology and communication tools (smartphones, tablets, etc.)Basic computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Hemasphere softwareAbility to commute with personal transportation.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    Tasks involve the ability to exert light physical effort usually involving some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of light weight (up to 20 pounds). Usually involves some climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, walking or standing.

    Functions are regularly performed inside and/or outside with potential for exposure to adverse conditions, such as inclement weather, atmospheric elements and pathogenic substances. Performance of this job could expose the employee to blood-borne pathogens. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

    Join our team as a Phlebotomist at OneBlood in Jupiter! As a Phlebotomist, you will perform phlebotomy and collection procedures to collect blood and blood components from donors following strict guidelines and regulations. Your responsibilities will include obtaining medical history and vitals from donors, displaying excellent customer service, and assisting with donor recruitment.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Obtains medical history and vitals from donors and/or patientsPerforms phlebotomy and collection procedures to collect blood or blood componentsDisplays excellent customer service and professionalism towards all customersAssists with the recruitment of potential apheresis, and bone marrow donors.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    High School Diploma or equivalentOpen availability with no schedule restrictions.Ability to read, understand and follow phlebotomy documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsAbility to speak, write, read, and understand EnglishBasic computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office applicationsNo Certifications or Medical experience required! We provide paid training!
