Position Type: Parttime per diem
4‑hour shifts, morning/evening split shifts, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays
About the Role
We are urgently hiring compassionate, dependable Caregivers / Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to support clients in their homes across multiple Connecticut towns. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, attentive, and committed to helping seniors maintain dignity, comfort, and independence.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobilitySupport Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs): meal prep, light housekeeping, laundry, errands, medication reminderProvide companionship and emotional supportAssist with safe transfers using gait belts, Hoyer lifts, and other mechanical devices. (training provided)Follow individualized care plans and maintain accurate documentationCommunicate effectively with clients, families, and supervisorsMaintain a clean, safe, and respectful environmentRequired Qualifications
Valid driver’s licenseInsured, reliable vehicleWilling to drive up to 30 minutes for client assignmentsWilling to work 4‑hour shifts, morning/evening split shifts, and overnight shiftsAvailable to work weekends and holidaysAbility to perform physical tasks using proper body mechanicsMinimum 4 years of experience working with clients with DementiaExperience supporting clients with Parkinson’s disease and mobility challengesComfortable working in homes with petsExperience as a Caregiver, PCA, HHA, CNA, or similar role preferred (training available)Dependable, punctual, and committed to consistent schedulingCPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)Background check requiredWhat We Offer
