    We are currently seeking a skilled and dependable Non-Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This role involves preparing high-quality compounded medications in a safe and compliant environment, working closely with pharmacists to ensure accuracy and patient safety.

    Responsibilities:

    Compound non-sterile medications such as capsules, creams, ointments, and suspensionsMeasure, weigh, and mix pharmaceutical ingredients following precise formulasPrepare and label prescriptions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacistMaintain clean and organized compounding areas in compliance with USP <795> guidelinesDocument batch records, logs, and prescription data accuratelyAssist in managing inventory of raw materials and suppliesFollow all safety protocols and standard operating proceduresCollaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure efficient workflow and excellent service

    Qualifications:

    High school diploma or equivalentCertified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred1+ years of experience in non-sterile compounding strongly preferredFamiliarity with USP <795> regulations and compounding techniquesStrong attention to detail, precision, and cleanlinessExcellent organizational and time management skillsComfortable working with specialized equipment such as balances, ointment mills, and capsule machinesAbility to follow detailed instructions and maintain thorough documentation

    Position Summary:
    We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Compounding Pharmacist with experience in non-sterile compounding. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the process of compounded medications following strict quality standards, ensuring accuracy in formulation and documentation, and collaborating with technicians and healthcare providers to support optimal patient outcomes.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Prepare and verify non-sterile compounded medications in accordance with USP <795> guidelines.​

    Oversee compounding technicians and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).

    Maintain accurate records of formulations, batch logs, and quality control documentation.

    Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the compounding area and adherence to protocols.

    Collaborate with prescribers and patients to clarify prescriptions and provide counseling when needed.

    Stay current with compounding regulations and best practices.

    Qualifications:

    Valid and active Pharmacist license in the state of California.

    Minimum of 1 year of experience in non-sterile compounding.

    In-depth knowledge of USP <795> and other relevant regulatory standards.

    Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Experience with PioneerRx software (preferred but not required).

    Preferred Skills:

    Familiarity with veterinary compounding (optional).

    Experience in hormone replacement therapy (HRT), dermatological, or pain management compounding.
