The current opening is for a Field Service Engineer. Main duties include:
Travel approximately 85% of the time to customer sites for service and installation work
Work independently to handle onsite machine repairs and to resolve technical issues
Perform service work related to preventative maintenance, general repair, debugging
Coordinate problem resolutions with applications engineering, spare parts team, and other personnel
Maintain records of performance reports
Qualifications include:
Minimum of a high school diploma – technical degree preferred, not required
Ability to travel extensively, approximately 85% of the time
Strong mechanical aptitude, electrical knowledge is helpful
Preferred experience in CNC equipment, but open to any industrial equipment/systems
Experience working in a fast-paced environment
Able to multi-task while adapting to shifting priorities
Strong hands-on troubleshooting ability
Customer-facing, excellent communication skills both verbally and written
