    Oliver Inc. is looking for an experienced and passionateFoldingGluing Operators** **in the Folding/Gluing Department. The ideal candidate will have general knowledge of glue-line assembly. The person will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, monitoring, and operating a folding machine to fold and glue printed materials, according to the specifications. The Operator will focus on continuously checking for accuracy and quality, monitor the machine, and correct problems. The person will control the inventory, verify the schedule. and guarantee post-production equipment cleaning.

    About the Role

    As a Folding Gluing Operator, you will be responsible for independently setting up, adjusting, and operating folding gluer equipment to produce high-quality product according to specifications. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can maintain speed, accuracy, and safety throughout production runs.

    In this role, you will:

    Set up feeder, glue system, plow/fold plates, compression sections, pack station, and quality inspection systems.Adjust and operate folding gluer equipment, ensuring proper folding sequence, glue application, paperboard thickness, and scoring alignment.Set up and run automated and computer-controlled inspection systems for quality assurance.Monitor quality throughout the run and make adjustments as needed to ensure consistent accuracy and product integrity.Perform routine preventative maintenance and minor equipment repairs.Interpret job tickets, verify schedules, and maintain accurate inventory counts.Complete post-production cleanup and ensure the work area remains safe and organized.Follow all safety guidelines and support a culture of continuous improvement.

    About You

    You're a strong match for the Folding Gluer Operatorrole if you have:

    Experience as a Folding Gluer Operator in the printing, packaging, or folding carton industry (preferred).Hands-on experience with Bobst or equivalent folding gluer equipment (highly preferred).Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical and quality issues.Knowledge of glue systems, scoring, folding sequences, and carton construction.Ability to read job tickets, production layouts, and use basic measurement tools (calipers, rulers, gauges).Solid math skills, including measurements and conversions.Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.Strong teamwork and communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.High school diploma or equivalent.

    Join Our Team as a Sheeter Operator

    Are you an experienced Sheeter Operator with a strong understanding of paper converting and manufacturing operations? We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented professional to join our production team. In this role, you'll be responsible for converting paper rolls into press-ready sheets while ensuring quality, efficiency, and on-time production.

    What You'll Do

    As our Sheeter Operator, you will:

    Operate sheeting equipment to convert paper rolls into sheets according to production specifications.Prioritize sheeting jobs based on the daily production schedule.Inspect paper rolls for defects or damage before production.Set up and adjust the sheeter, including slitters, anvils, belts, and joggers, to meet job requirements.Verify sheet size, squareness, and quality throughout production runs.Maximize efficiency by combining sheeting jobs whenever possible and utilizing existing sheeted inventory.Monitor raw material inventory and communicate low stock levels to Purchasing.Perform routine maintenance on the sheeter, including replacing blades and slitters as needed.Maintain accurate inventory and production records using computer systems.Print and apply inventory labels to finished skids.Safely operate forklifts, clamp trucks, stretch wrappers, banding equipment, and scanners.Assist with training team members as needed.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company safety procedures.

    About You:

    You're a fit for the role of Sheeter Operator, if your background includes:

    Minimum of 3 years of Sheeter Operator experience in a commercial printing, paper converting, or manufacturing environment.Strong understanding of paper grades, sheeting processes, and production workflows.Experience operating industrial sheeting equipment.Forklift and clamp truck operating experience required.Basic computer skills with the ability to enter production and inventory information into manufacturing systems.Experience using ERP or manufacturing software (Solar Soft experience is a plus).Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.Ability to read production orders, work instructions, safety procedures, and operating manuals.Basic math skills, including fractions, decimals, percentages, and measurements.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to work independently while collaborating with production and warehouse teams.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods (approximately 75% of the shift).Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment.Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment around moving machinery.Why Join Us?
