    We are looking for a Class A CDL Driver who will make glass deliveries from our Phoenix, AZ facility to customers.

    Job Highlights

    Responsibilities

    Handle and load/unload glass and/or metal products, secure the load, make multiple deliveries, and provide excellent customer serviceEnsure trucks are operating efficiently by performing thorough daily pre and post trip inspections.Maintain truck and driving records by reporting information, completing driver log,s and truck performance formsPeriodically help load products onto truck for next day routeComply with organization operational policies, procedures, and standards, as well as state and local driving rules and regulationsRegular and predictable attendance, the ability to safely perform tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of your jobThis position involves transporting glass and/or metal products with company assigned vehicles with the possibility of layovers.

    Requirements

    Valid Class A CDL license issued by your state of residenceAt least one (1) years experience driving TrucksClean driving record over the last three years with no tickets or accidents (no major traffic violations on driving record)Ability to work a flexible starting timeAbility to obtain a medical examiner’s certificate of physical qualificationMeet all DOT requirementsDependability, good English verbal and written communications skills, and good customer relations and people skillsHave the ability to read and interpret mathematical measurement of glass sizes and properly read and use a tape measureElectronically log hours of service and all other assigned necessary paperworkKnowledge of proper location, distribution, and securement of cargo, specifically glassSkilled at handling varying road, traffic, and weather conditions

    Physical Requirements

    Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs. unassisted as needed

    Job Summary

    We are currently looking for General Laborers for the 2nd shift 5:00PM to 5:30AM at our Fremont, CA manufacturing facility. You will have the opportunity to work in cutting, fabricating, insulating, metal fabrication, warehouse, or shipping departments. These positions may have daily or weekend overtime as dictated by the production schedule.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Move glass and metal product from, tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates for eight or more hours, dailyTransport of materials including glass from one position/location to another in an effort to expedite the production processRead and attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packagesQuality inspection, operating equipment, and/or manually maneuvering equipmentUnderstand layout of the facility to ensure proper product flowPerform different job functions on a rotating basisInspect product for any abnormalities and notifying supervisor immediately of any issuesUtilize a tape measure to ensure product is within the product specificationsMaintain a safe and clean work areaRegular and predictable attendance, the ability to safely perform tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of your job

    Requirements

    Ability to read, understand, and communicate paperwork and labelsAbility to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements and effectively use a tape measureAll production workers are expected to be available to work in all areas of productionFlexible work availability (typically Monday through Friday with occasional weekends)High School Diploma or GED, preferredOne year of previous work experience in a warehouse, manufacturing or production facility, preferred
