Job Responsibilities
Responsible for producing quality parts on CNC machines, including but not limited to lathes and milling machines, in a timely, safe, and efficient mannerOperate CNC machines, perform setup changes, and conduct first article inspections for production runsLoad parts using overhead lifting equipmentProve programs, operate controls, set offsets, perform simple program edits, deburr parts, and inspect finished components to ensure conformance to requirementsIdentify potential issues prior to production runs; start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions and make necessary adjustmentsRead and interpret blueprints, job orders, and precision measuring instruments to determine dimensions, tolerances, and tooling requirementsMaintain working knowledge of tooling instructions, including fixtures, feed rates, cutting speeds, depth of cut, and appropriate cutting toolsProve out new programs and perform simple edits to NC programs on one or more CNC machinesMaintain a clean and organized work area and perform basic preventive maintenance on equipmentPerform other work-related duties as assignedComply with all Company and Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures

Knowledge of CNC machine setup and operationAbility to edit CNC programsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and specificationsKnowledge of dimensional and tolerance measurementsProficiency with precision measuring instrumentsBasic computer skillsWorking knowledge of various tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, and inserts used across multiple machinesAdvanced ability to read drawings and specifications, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)Advanced knowledge of precision measuring instruments, including but not limited to calipers, ID/OD micrometers, depth gauges, indicators, and tape measuresAdvanced understanding of programmed segments and corresponding machine operations

Education & Experience
Education certification NOT Required, but MUST possess the following:Ability to analyze situations, identify potential issues, and take appropriate corrective actionDemonstrates practical, hands-on problem-solving ability in a manufacturing environmentAbility to recognize abnormal conditions and respond appropriatelySafety-focused (very effective for CNC roles)Ability to exercise good judgment and situational awareness while operating machineryApplies logical thinking to ensure safe and efficient machine operationWe will also assist and provide training if there is any aspect to the job duties that you may not be 100% confident in. Must be able to read/write EnglishUp to 1 year industry experience
