    Join our team and lead the heart of guest experience! We’re looking for a dynamic Front Desk Manager to oversee daily operations, inspire a high-performing team, and deliver exceptional service that drives guest satisfaction and revenue growth.


    What You’ll Do:

    Lead & Inspire: Supervise and train Front Desk staff, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge to succeed.HR Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and manage team performance while maintaining proper staffing levels.Guest Experience: Serve as concierge, resolve guest issues, and ensure smooth check-in/check-out processes.Operational Excellence: Manage room inventory, audits, and financial controls with accuracy and integrity.Collaborate: Work with Marketing on lodging specials and represent the resort at events.Additional Responsibilities: Oversee Gift Shop operations and Guest Services when needed.

    Requirements:

    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE
    Associate’s degree preferred; three to five years’ related experience; or acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to stand, talk, hear, and use hands. The employee is frequently required to walk. The employee will seldom be required to sit, reach, climb, stoop and kneel. The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision requirements required by this job include close and distance vision.


    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee will frequently be exposed to general office environment conditions. The employee will seldom be exposed to high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, outdoor conditions and moderate noise.


    Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, the employee may be required to work varying schedules that reflect the business needs of the resort. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.

    Larsmont Cottages is seeking a Guest and Resort Care Specialist to join our award-winning team. This position plays a pivotal role in guaranteeing an exceptional experience for our guests. This position is ideal for those who like to perform a variety of tasks both indoors and outdoors.


    This position includes rotating weekend shifts. Scheduled hours are Friday and Saturday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and Sunday through Thursday from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM.


    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

    • Be vigilant in monitoring the property. Address or report any issues or concerns identified during routine inspections.

    • Perform daily inspections of the grounds and facilities. Arrange furniture, pick up trash, clean common areas and event spaces, restock

    supplies and assist with security and safety issues as necessary.

    • Track time and maintain an accurate timetable of tasks and parts used throughout each shift.

    • Assist with guest enhancement programing; assemble s’mores kits, collect fire starting supplies, assemble craft kits, maintain lawn games, maintain fleet of bicycles, and assist with event set up as needed.

    • Assist with guest and employee transportation as needed.

    • Be approachable and proactive in engaging with guests by being welcoming and outgoing.

    • Monitor pool and follow closure procedures as assigned.

    • Perform ground maintenance such as mowing lawns, trimming hedges, removing weeds, raking and disposing of leaves and refuse, chopping and stacking firewood, clear snow, etc.

    • Maintain vehicle, tools, and equipment (including uniform) in good and proper working order.

    • Assist maintenance team with projects; ensure projects are completed in a safe, efficient manner.

    • Arrange furniture and equipment when requested; clean resort buildings and grounds as needed; assist with security issues as needed.

    • Perform preventative maintenance on all resort property.

    • Take and respond to guest calls and requests; work to resolve any issues in a timely, efficient manner.

    • Respond to emergency situations and resolve immediate safety concerns; be available for on-call shifts, as needed.

    Requirements:

    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE

    High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; one-year related experience preferred; or acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience.


    CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

    • Valid driver’s license

    • Obtain Pool Operator License within six months of employment, if required

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    Maintain and repair physical structures and utility systems of buildings such as electrical controls, heating and ventilating systems, and water distribution and plumbing systems.Monitor pool and follow opening and closure procedures as assigned.Perform routine maintenance work on vehicles.Perform a wide variety of semiskilled maintenance activities (e.g., lighting, electrical, alarms, plumbing, security, painting, general carpentry, etc.).Maintain tools and equipment (including uniform) in good and proper working order.Assist maintenance team with projects; ensure projects are completed in a safe, efficient manner.Arrange furniture and equipment when requested; clean resort buildings and grounds as needed; assist with security issues as needed.Provide support with performing ground maintenance such as mowing lawns, trimming hedges, removing weeds, raking and disposing of leaves and refuse, chop and stack firewood, clear snow, etc. when requested.Perform preventative maintenance on all resort property.Take and respond to guest calls and requests; work to resolve any issues in a timely, efficient manner.Respond to emergency situations and resolve immediate safety concerns; be available for on-call, as needed.Requirements:
