OCA is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team! This role plays a vital part in the financial health of OCA by accurately and efficiently managing billing and invoicing processes across all serviced accounts.
This is an ideal opportunity for an entry-level to early-career candidate (1–3 years of experience) who excels in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong communication skills, and has hands-on proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel.

Billing & Invoicing Operations: Prepare and issue comprehensive bills, invoices, and customer statements; perform new client reviews and account setups.
Payment Processing & Reconciliation: Accurately process and apply incoming payments, execute daily AR transactions, facilitate bank deposits, and perform meticulous reconciliations on the accounts receivable ledger.
Client Communication & Support: Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, send timely payment reminders, follow up on outstanding invoices, and provide exceptional telephone support to clients with AR inquiries.
Reporting: Generate financial statements and reports providing clear insights into accounts receivable status to aid financial decision-making.
Compliance & Data Management: Maintain strict adherence to all state and federal data privacy regulations, including HIPAA.
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related administrative/finance capacity.
Software Proficiency:
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, basic formulas, spreadsheet management) and MS Office Suite required.
Experience with Zoho or Salesforce is a plus.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business is a plus.
Key Skills: High attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, excellent organization in a deadline-driven environment, and professional verbal and written communication skills.
Work Schedule: Full-time. Monday–Thursday 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, Friday 8:30 AM–4:30 PM.
Hybrid Flexibility: 1–2 days per week in-office (Mercerville, NJ) with remote flexibility.
