OB/GYN Associates, P.C. is accepting applications for Manager, Mammography Department. This position reports to the Practice Administrator and currently supervises 5-7 employees. The Mammography Department provide state-of-the art mammography including ABUS and DEXA. This position will manage all aspects of the department including providing direct patient care. Duties: Responsible for management and performance of staff, volume controlled schedules, and department performance including, safety metrics, manage patient feedback, equipment testing and monitoring, quality controls, adherence to ACR, FDA/MQSA accreditations, regulations and reporting. Maintains open and positive communication with staff, physicians and other departments (internal) and outside healthcare agencies. The position will be responsible for keeping up to date on current trends, new equipment/procedures and EHR integration and enhancements. Requirements: This position requires completion from an approved training program in Radiologic Technology and registered by the ARRT and Mammography Certification in active status. Must be licensed in the State of Iowa. Five years of mammography experience, management experience preferred. Must posses an expanded knowledge of current clinical and specialized patient care concepts within Mammography.
