    Donald L. Mooney Enterprises, LLC dba NURSES Etc STAFFING is sourcing qualified Cardiology Physician's for the Syracuse VA Medical Center in Syracuse, NY.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    License: Shall have a current license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia) when services are performed onsite on VA property.
    All licenses held by the key personnel working on this contract shall be full and unrestricted licenses.
    Board Certification: Shall be Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiovascular Disease American Board of Internal Medicine An ABMS Member Board and be currently certified in BLS, ACLS or equivalency. All continuing education courses required for maintaining certification must be kept up to date at all times.

    Scope of Care: Shall be responsible for providing Cardiology Physician care, including, but not limited to:
    Consulting and attending services: Shall supply Cardiology physicians to function as Attending Physicians to ensure adequate supervision of Residents and Interns at the Syracuse VA. Involvement within the Medical Service shall include both inpatient and outpatient activity. In addition, the Cardiology Physician shall provide consultative services as required and ordered by VA. The on-call team must be available within 30 minutes of being verbally notified. This contract is intended to ensure high quality patient care, teaching of medical students and pursuit of continuing education for staff.
    Call Coverage: Shall provide on-call services as described below. The on-call team must be available within 30 minutes of being verbally notified.
    Providing 24 hour on-call coverage on weeknights and weekends 52 weeks per year as scheduled.
    Providing 24 hour on-call coverage for 10 national holidays per year beginning 7:00 AM until 7:00 AM the following day.
    Providing coverage in the absence of the VA physician for sick and vacation days and authorized absences.
    Providing medical and technical support to RNs, PAs and NPs.
    Dictate/direct enter all patient documentation in a note which details the contract provider s assessment, history and physical findings, the results of diagnostic testing such as laboratory and radiology, the contract provider s plan of care, medication administration, patient education (disease, condition, anatomy and physiology and expectation of patient compliance) and the risks and benefits.
    Be available for informal questions and requests for information regarding individual patients and to consult with other members of the medical staff via telephone consultation for emergent treatment of patients.
    Contribute to Medical Service operations by advising nursing staff of supplies needed to be ordered.
    Contribute to staff education/in-service training to clinical personnel.

    Donald L. Mooney Enterprises, LLC dba NURSES Etc STAFFING is sourcing for a qualified Radiologist Director for NIH Institutes Clinical Center located in Bethesda, MD.

    Description of Responsibilities
    Responsible for administration of diagnostic imaging operations in the Radiology department including clinical nuclear medicine. Leads, coordinates and manages budget, workflow, equipment and facility and communicates with PACS/RIS, radiologist and technologist staff.

    • Assist in coordinating patient scheduling for routine, urgent and stat exams.
    • Provide hand off communication between multidisciplinary teams including patients, physicians, technologists, interpreters, transportation and nursing staff.
    • Setup equipment, devise positioning variations and adapt technical factors to accommodate patient condition.
    • Perform pertinent quality control of equipment specific to the modality and established protocols.
    • Verify all imaging and documentation is accurate and complete prior to submission into facility medical record.

    Requirements:

    M.D. or equivalent degree (e.g., M.D./Ph.D.) is required.

    Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology, with expertise in subspecialties such as Body Imaging, Neuroradiology, and/or Nuclear Medicine Clinical

    Unrestricted medical license in the U.S. and credentialing eligibility by the NIH Clinical Center.

    Performance Standards:

    Quality of Service: All radiological services will be performed using RADIS industry-standard equipment and established protocols, ensuring accurate and high-quality diagnostic images are acquired for diagnostic interpretation.

    Compliance: The Contractor shall comply with all applicable regulations, including HIPAA, patient privacy and confidentiality laws, and all federal and state health and safety guidelines.

    Responsibilities of RADIS

    • Provide access to patients requiring diagnostic imaging, with all necessary medical records and physician orders for the imaging services.
    • Ensure timely communication with the Contractor for scheduling and delivery of services.
    • Ensure access to appropriate space and facilities for on-site services, if applicable.
    • Provide all necessary information regarding the patient's medical history, allergies, and contraindications for imaging services.

    Schedule:
    Full time 40 hours/week, Monday Friday. On-call rotation including weekends and holidays
