Job Description The Nuna Group of Companies is now accepting resumes for Fleet Maintenance Analyst. Nuna is the largest Inuit-owned heavy civil construction, earthworks, and mine construction contractor in Canada. We are seeking a Fleet Maintenance Analyst who will be accountable for equipment data management for the NUNA Group of Companies in our Edmonton, AB office. Job Requirements Some Key Responsibilities: Support and maintain the equipment master data system in JD Edwards. Set-up of new equipment. Maintain the asset transfer process in JDE to facilitate the timely and accurate transfer of equipment between Nuna sites. Fleet data collection to optimize overall fleet usage I.E - availability, idle hours, and utilization. Support the creation and implementation of fleet processes to support continuous improvement initiatives. Support rate analysis through data analytics. Assist in the annual forecast. Cost recovery. Provide reporting to ensure all fleet vehicles are properly insured, licensed, and meet all regulatory requirements. Provide department reports as required to support the maintenance team. Business unit budget vs. actual comparisons Cost tracking and document management/review Produce reporting on Fleet key performance indicators Mechanical availability. Fleet utilization. Other Duties as required Field requests from sites and other areas of the business regarding fleet equipment. Other administrative and coordination of duties and reporting, as required. Work Experience: Minimum of five years Heavy equipment maintenance/fleet related experience. Experience as a Data Analyst in a construction-related field will be considered an asset. Demonstrated organizational, administrative and time management background. Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field. Greater experience in financial analysis or heavy maintenance equipment analysis may be considered as an equivalency to a degree will be considered. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements: Good organizational and multi-tasking skills. Good communication skills required in both the written and spoken English language. Good understanding of accounting rules and standards would be considered an asset. Must be competent in MS office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint). With demonstrated intermediate/advanced level Excel. Must have strong interpersonal communication skills. Must have a positive attitude and problem-solving abilities. Able to work in a busy environment. Ability to make sound decisions and function with limited supervision. Must be self-motivated.
