Able to work in a fast-paced environment with ongoing deadlines Must be able to work independently Understanding of the Ship repair industry Must be DBIDS and TWIC credential-eligible The pipe welding test is given in a restricted position (6 G) on a 5'' schedule 80 carbon steel pipe.?GTAW (TIG) process is used for root pass, and 11018 electrodes are used for the weld fill portion and cap. Working Conditions: Open-air conditions such as noise, hot and cold, and in an office-controlled environment. May have to visit projects aboard ships, rigs on and offshore, and confined spaces. Wear hearing, eye, and head protection and proper PPE when required.
