    Shift : 1st Shift Monday-Friday occasional evening/weekend overtime. 5am to 8am start time

    SAFETY SENSITIVE ROLE - SUBJECT TO RANDOM DRUG TESTING

    Position Summary
    The Assembler 2 position performs disassembly, assembly, re-work, and minimum testing of various electrical/electronic equipment.

    Responsibilities
    " Use electric soldering equipment to the IPC-A-610B, Class 3 standard Cut, prepare and pre-tin wires, prepare batteries, Apply conformal coat, marking and adhesive bonding.
    Follow written and verbal instructions
    " Complete work according to instructions, specifications and procedures, under direct and/or limited supervision.
    " Perform a variety of complex mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations in accordance with company instructions and procedures.
    " Conduct inspections of own and/or other associates work to insure correctness in accordance with company and/or customer drawing.
    " Maintain a clean and orderly workstation adhering to 6S standards.
    " Maintain an acceptable attendance and safety record.
    " Adhere to all company guidelines, policies and procedures.
    " Additional job duties and tasks as needed.
    " Assist other departments with job duties, tasks, training, and development as needed.
    " Complete additional job duties and tasks as assigned and instructed by Lead Tech / Supervisor.

    Qualification
    Education: Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience
    Experience: Minimum of 2 years prior work experience in an electronics/manufacturing environment or completed OJT training for at least 5 products

    Skills:
    " Able to read and comprehend regulations and instructions in English.
    " Effective oral and written communication
    " Must be able to work all shifts and available for overtime and weekends as needed.
    " Proficient in using the tools, equipment, and inspection aids applicable to the scope of work assigned.
    " Use hand tools, power tools and electric soldering gun
    " Lift and Carry up to 30lbs.
    " Able and willing to comply with Drug-Free Workplace policies and pass all related drug/alcohol screenings.
    " Able to perform complex mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operation.
    " Capable of solving problems in situations that are atypical or infrequently occurring based on existing precedents or procedures.
    " Skilled at simple welding tasks and/or brazing, or soldering.
    " Ability to read and interpret company documents, such as safety rules, operating/manufacturing instructions, policies and procedures.
    " Experience with MS Office Suite.
    " Good manual dexterity required to work with small parts
    Candidate Requirement: Candidate must pass a hands-on assessment to be moved to the in-person interview stage of the recruitment process. Candidates unable to pass the assessment will not move forward in the process.

    Physical Requirements
    " Approximately 90% sitting and 10% standing/walking about in-door Company facilities.
    " Use head and neck in static position, looking up/down and side-to-side.
    " Perform major hand grasping and fine finger manipulations using both hands.
