We are hiring an experienced Commercial Electrician Foreman.
We are looking for a true electrical foreman someone who is not only an experienced commercial electrician, but who has proven experience running crews and managing electrical job sites from start to finish.
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise electricians, mechanics, apprentices, and helpersRun the electrical crew and daily jobsite operationsRead and interpret blueprints, electrical plans, specifications, and schematicsPerform layout and plan electrical installationsAssign daily work and keep crews productiveCoordinate manpower, materials, tools, and equipmentTrack labor hours and material usageKeep projects on schedule and within budgetCoordinate with project managers, superintendents, general contractors, and other tradesMonitor job progress and identify potential problems before they impact the scheduleEnsure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and electrical codesMaintain quality-control standardsEnforce all jobsite safety requirementsTroubleshoot electrical installations and field conditionsCommunicate project progress and manpower/material needs to management.Requirements

Assist experienced electricians with commercial electrical installationsMeasure, cut, and bend conduit using measuring instruments and hand toolsAssist with pulling and routing wire and cableInstall conduit, boxes, supports, straps, and other electrical componentsDrill holes and pull or push wiring through openings using hand and power toolsAssist with connecting wiring to electrical components and equipmentAssist with installation of lighting, devices, fixtures, and electrical equipmentPerform commercial electrical rough-in and trim-out workAssist with underground electrical installations, including digging trenches and installing conduitOrganize, move, and handle electrical materials and equipmentRemove and replace electrical components as directedMaintain a clean and safe work areaFollow instructions from journeymen, foremen, and jobsite supervisorsFollow all company and jobsite safety proceduresQualifications

Read blueprints, circuit diagrams, and technical documents.Measure, cut, and bend wires and conduits using measuring instruments and hand tools.Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.Assemble, install, test, or maintain electrical components, equipment, or systems to ensure proper functioning.Drill holes and pull or push wiring through openings using hand and power tools.Place conduits, pipes, or tubing in designated areas, and pull insulated wires or cables through to complete circuits.Perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches for conduits or moving heavy objects.Inspect electrical units for proper connections and insulation using hand tools.Remove electrical equipment, replace defective or worn parts, and reassemble equipment using hand tools.Direct and assist less experienced employees as needed.Qualifications
