Notified is adding a Mgr, Software Engineering to our Technology team in Woburn. Our expectation at this time is you will work from our office on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with flexibility to work from home on Monday and Friday. Location: 130 New Boston Street, Woburn, MA01801 Your work tasks / responsibilities As a Mgr, Software Engineering, you will lead, mentor, coach, and grow a team of diverse, talented engineers who deliver world-class services in high-pressure situations, leveraging advanced AI tools and frameworks to enhance productivity and innovation. Effective collaboration skills will be required to work closely with other engineering and research teams to ensure services and systems are highly stable and performant, utilizing AI-driven analytics and monitoring solutions to meet the expectations of internal and external customers. This role requires a motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, highly technical, and constantly evolving environment. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated people management skills, exceptional customer focus, and experience integrating AI technologies to drive technical leadership and nurture a learn-it-all, curious, data-driven culture. You are a key contributor to the next generation of public relations and investor relations platform development. Work closely with Technology and Product leaders, understand new business initiatives, build solutions to complex business problems, and develop the next generation of platform in Angular, AWS and Microsoft Tech Stack, incorporating AI frameworks and automation. Direct supervision of an engineering team and working with colleagues across the globe, promoting the adoption of AI-enabled collaboration and productivity tools. Meet regularly with other engineering managers to drive communication, transparency, and platform deliveries across the engineering organization, fostering best practices in the use of AI-powered development and project management frameworks. Ensure the learning and development needs of your team members are met, and coach your team to drive engineering excellence and best practices, including the responsible use of AI tools and frameworks. Build strong partnerships with Product, Service, and Delivery to ensure we deliver constant value to our customers that meets a high bar of excellence, with a focus on integrating AI-driven solutions for greater impact. Provide constructive feedback to directs and coworkers through radical candor to ensure a culture of constant improvement, utilizing AI-powered feedback and performance tracking systems to help everyone grow together. Participate in tactical and strategic discussions on the direction of the engineering organization, including evaluating and adopting emerging AI technologies and frameworks. Perform regular code and architectural reviews for your teams and other teams to ensure technical accuracy and engineering best practices, and leverage AI-assisted code review tools as opportunities for coaching. Provide regular and consistent feedback and recognition to your teams, team members, and management, utilizing AI-supported recognition platforms. Ensure your teams and their accomplishments are seen and celebrated, including through AI-enabled communication and celebration tools. Be a servant leader for your team-coach them, don't command them-while encouraging the responsible and innovative use of AI technologies in daily work. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements. 7+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, .NET C#, TypeScript, Angular, JavaScript. Very good communication skills and pragmatic action combined with a result-oriented mindset. Experience leading Agile teams with 5+ direct reports in a management role. Minimum 3+ years of experience managing engineers. Extreme Ownership and Accountability skills. Organizational skills for keeping track of multiple employees, schedules, and projects simultaneously. Good conflict resolution skills, analytical thinking skills, and ability to make decisions quickly and own them. Very good spoken and written English (minimum C1 / C2 desired). Preferred Qualifications Specialization in backend API and frontend design, artistic attitude or passionate about user experience. Experience with Agile principles. Experience working with international teams in various time-zones.
