Assistant Project Manager
Position Overview
The Assistant Project Manager functions in a support role to the Project Manager. The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible to assist Project Manager in regards to initial project planning, assist in the development of the budgets, contract coordination, budget control, change order/purchase order management, scheduling, and project closeout.
Essential Functions
· Assist the Project Manager in managing all assigned construction related projects.
· Assist in the preparation of budgets, cost analysis, project plans, scopes of work and schedules for construction; source, negotiate, engage and supervise contractor relationships, prepare bids and manage bid process, as well as execute on project plans.
· Update and monitor project schedules.
· Assist in preparation of cost reports.
· Track and update change orders/purchase orders
· Facilitate processing of RFI’s, submittals process
· Procure shop drawings, samples and other submittals.
· Provide spreadsheets for cost analysis.
· Provide updates, status and completion, to Project Manager on all requested activities.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
· A Bachelor’s Degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business or Finance is required
· Qualified candidates will offer at least 2-5 years of related experience in Construction
· Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and scheduling programs
· Knows how to read plans (architectural and engineering)
· Must be persistent, accurate, organized, detail-oriented, flexible, people-oriented, have ability to consistently meet deadlines and have strong leadership qualities

Primary Responsibilities:
The AP Coordinator at Northwood Ravin handles the daily accounting and accounts payable duties for several apartment operating entities. The duties include, but are not limited to, accounts payable, journal entry preparation, monthly accruals, daily cash management, bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, financial statement preparation and special projects as needed. This person will also be responsible for accounts payable for operating properties including, but not limited to, reviewing and entering invoices, and printing and mailing checks.
