RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with physicians before and during procedures to assist in selecting the optimal equipment to be utilized.Provides guidance, training, direction, and hands on demonstrations to physician, technician and other hospital personnel.Assist in the development of product training regarding all three dimensional, electro-anatomical mapping systems as well as other accessory equipment.Troubleshoot technical problems and systems issues.Determine technical solution in accordance with product and customer specifications, and recommends actions to company or customer representatives for coordinative product solution.Conducts technical analysis of product implementations, modifications and enhancements to product in accordance with specific customer specifications and implementations.This position will also require the individual to assess customer needs and recommend solutions in accordance with product specifications and customer specifications.Research and test new equipment prototype devices and products, ensure that prototype equipment devices meet all company specifications and guidelines.This person will need to have thorough knowledge of all company products, policies, and procedures.The incumbent will participate on teams to develop, implement, and improve processes and procedures. The ability to handle multiple-tasks with an attention to detail and prompt follow through is a must.You will quickly become an extension of a collaborative field force and EP lab team.Pivotal to your success will be your ability to develop effective working relationships with the customers, with whom you'll interact on a regular basis.The qualified candidate will have outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills.Strong computer skills experience with quality compliance are a plus.Basic EP Study Procedure:Knowledge of catheters for use during basic EP procedures.The ability to recognize the catheters location under x-ray.Identify and analyze the catheters position by using intracardiac recordings and the ability to record the baseline intervals (ex: HIS, RV, HRA and CS).The ability to operate a recording system and the stimulator system.Atrial Flutter Procedure:Knowledge of catheters for use during atrial flutter procedures.The ability to recognize the catheters location under x-ray.Identify and analyze the catheters position by using intracardiac recordings.The ability to operate a recording system and stimulator system.Provide assistance to the physicians by mapping the locations of their catheters with advanced mapping systems.Also assists the physicians in directing the placement of ablation lesions.The mapping system gives the physician a 3D image of the heart structure.Atrial Fibrillation Procedure:The atrial fibrillation is an extension of a basic EP study.The ability to use Intracardiac echo to allow the physician the ability to visually maneuver across the heart septum by making a small puncture to allow insertion of catheters to the left side for accessibility to the pulmonary veins.The ability to read right and left-sided blood pressures on a recording system to assist the physician in successfully crossing the heart septum.Operate advanced 3D mapping systems to guide the physician to pulmonary vein and properly place ablation lesions.Procedures: Atrial Tachycardia, Paroxysmal Supraventricular Tachycardia, Ventricular Tachycardia and RVOT procedures all need the same responsibilities as the ones above.Serves as the primary analytical resource for the user/customers and vendors regarding issues of application deployment, work flow, and overall system effectiveness.Maintains an up-to-date knowledge of advances and changes in the industry and looks for opportunities to apply these to hospitals needs.Maintains solid technical competence for assigned systems while gasping the integration and interaction of all supported systems.Provides diagnostic skills and expertise to coordinate problem determination and solution, including vendors and manufacturers.Facilitates the smooth introduction of change while reducing risk and, hence, disruptions to the production environment.Monitors production environment to ensure measurements defined by Quality Management Standards are being met.Where opportunities exist to improve, identify and seek timely resolution.Monitors and maintains the physical data center environmental to ensure proper placement of equipment, with appropriate electrical and cooling capacities.AA/EOE.QualificationsRequired:

Job DescriptionThe Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), in collaboration with staff anesthesiologists, provides high quality anesthetic care to patients in the inpatient and expanded outpatient facilities. The CRNA may also participate in research projects, the education of student registered nurse anesthetists, and leadership activities within the department and throughout the hospital.
Responsibilities:
Selects appropriate equipment and completes room set up in anticipation of patient's needs; completes room set up in an efficient, thorough and cost effective mannerEnsures preoperative documentation is complete, collaborates plan of care with attending anesthesiologist and surgical teamManages all aspects of anesthesia care based on the patient's physiological response to anesthesia and surgery, consults attending anesthesiologists or other interdisciplinary team members as appropriatePerforms complete, accurate and legible preoperative, intra-operative and postoperative documentationMay perform other duties as assignedQualificationsRequired:
