Duties
Safely operate a range of commercial trucks including manual transmission tractor-trailers, Dry van trailers long-distance routes.Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.Follow designated routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.Manage delivery schedules by planning optimal routes for timely pickups and deliveries across multiple locations.Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, route changes, or any incidents encountered on the road.Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, freight documentation, inspection reports, and delivery receipts in compliance with federal regulations.Qualifications
Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A.Proven experience in truck driving .No more than 2 violations in last 3 years.Strong understanding of safety regulations related to commercial trucking and cargo handling.Excellent driving record with a commitment to safe driving practices on all routes.Physical ability to perform vehicle inspections .
