    We're looking for a truly exceptional, multitalented editor who takes pride in a job well done and is passionate about building a journalism career in the travel industry. You are genuinely curious about what’s happening in the world of travel and how it affects the people who work in it. You naturally notice what’s new, changing or important — and you enjoy turning that into clear, useful and engaging news for a professional audience. You also don’t shy away from reported features that show off your storytelling skills.

    You'll learn the ins and outs of the travel industry as you work together with our award-winning editorial team, report from the field, shape our news content, interview some of the top players in travel, edit freelancers' work, contribute to social media and work at our own live events. You’re the type of person who combines warmth with strong professional instincts and consistently shows up prepared, polished and engaged — ready to listen, learn and get the best story.

    This is a highly visible, on-camera and in-person role. You must be comfortable consistently presenting yourself in a polished, professional manner in meetings, industry settings and live events. You will regularly interact with senior leadership and external stakeholders and are expected to consistently demonstrate readiness and professionalism in those settings. While there is some travel in this role, expect a collaborative, deadline-driven environment that generally requires a standard Monday-Friday schedule in alignment with the team.

    What You’ll Do:

    Overseeing TravelAge West’s digital news output and writing and editing daily quick-turnaround news pieces Reporting and writing weekly features Contributing to the monthly print cycle, including managing sections and editingAssigning, editing and collaborating with freelance writersSupporting our social media effortsSupporting marketing initiatives, awards programs and live eventsRepresenting and upholding the TravelAge West brand in all interactions with industry partners, sources and colleagues. (Expect daily communication with clients and audience members, and about 30% travel.)Building relationships across the travel industryBacking up the team wherever needed

    How You Work:

    You show strong judgment about context and audience, especially in high-visibility settingsYou are highly responsive and aligned with team norms around communication and availabilityYou are fully present and engaged in meetings and collaborative environmentsYou demonstrate consistent professional standards across all work settings — including internal meetings, external-facing interactions and informal cross-functional conversationsRequired Knowledge, Skills and Experience:2-3 years of editorial experience (magazine, newspaper or digital)Exceptional writing and editing chops with a diversity of clips (news writing, features and interviews)Familiarity with AP style The ability to juggle deadlines and work ahead Strong organizational skills and attention to detailA team player with strong initiative who can manage projects independentlyA four-year degree (English, Journalism or Literature preferred)Hybrid role based in Los Angeles with a minimum of one day per week in Century City office required

    We are looking for a proactive, detail-driven, and collaborative Staff Accountant II to join our finance team. If you’re ready to make an impact and grow your career in a dynamic, supportive environment, we’d love to meet you!

    This role will split their time between our Rutherford, New Jersey office (2 days) and working remote (3 days). Flexibility is provided.

    What You’ll Do:

    Participate in the monthly closing and reconciliation process along other members of our finance teamPreparation of daily cash reportsHandle chargeback cases through thorough research, timely responses, and accurate system updatesLiaise with our general accounting, order management, accounts payable, and accounts receivable teams to ensure accurate financial reportingPrepare analysis for print production and events expense to determine proper month end accrualsAnalysis of revenue and expense accountsBank reconciliationsManagement of full account analysis files for manager reviewAssist with the yearly financial statement audit by preparing audit schedules and providing requested supporting documentationAssist accounts payable and receivable when necessary

    What You Have:
