THIS ROLE:
NorthStar is currently seeking a talented and compassionate Medical Director as we expand our leadership team with a Medical Director of Anesthesia at Inova Lorton Ambulatory Surgery Center in Lorton, VA. Monday - Friday position. No call, no weekends and paid holidays.
THE FACILITY:
Inova Lorton Ambulatory Surgery Center - This facility is currently 2 ORs and performs primarily GI and podiatry cases - Located right off I-95 makes this facility a convenient location

Primarily GI and Podiatry Cases
We Offer:
Top of Market Base Salary $425K+
$30K Sign-On Bonus with 2 years
Incentives, $10K Annual Medical Director Stipend
Substantial PTO - 8 Weeks
Full-time, Permanent, W2
Schedule - Monday- Friday, generous PTO, No holidays, Call or Weekends!

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Providing high-quality patient care through clinical expertise, communication, and collaboration with healthcare team members
Conducting patient assessments, creating and implementing care plans, and monitoring patient progress
Documenting patient care and progress accurately and in a timely manner
Educating patients and their families on health management, disease prevention, and treatment options
Establishing and maintaining effective staffing patterns and standards of coverage
REQUIREMENTS:
A strong understanding of the business of anesthesia. For the right candidate, we can get you up to speed quickly.
Organized, proactive, and able to function in a high growth, high accountability environment.
Experience taking on leadership initiatives.
Anesthesiologist in good standing with the ABA and state licensing board.
