    Project Manager (Facilities Maintenance) – (Washington, DC)

    Federal O&M Contractor seeking Project Manager (Mechanical Engineer preferred) for facilities maintenance in the Washington, DC area within multiple facilities. Must have at minimum ten (15) years of O&M/Facilities Management type experience, with at least eight (10) years in a project management/ supervisory role in commercial & industrial mechanical, electrical, and HVAC maintenance services in commercial facilities. Must have demonstrated leadership & supervisory experience guiding and directing mechanical maintenance personnel. Must possess good administrative skills and ability to communicate well with constituents. Must be self-motivated, conscientious, hardworking & honest. Must be willing to submit to Federal security background check. Wages/Benefits to be discussed. Position is Full-Time permanent.

    Salary: $150000.00 to $165000.00/yr Benefits include Medical/Dental/Vision Ins, Paid Vacation, Sick Leave and Holidays.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate internal resources, subcontractor’s and vendors for the flawless execution of projects

    • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

    • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

    • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress

    • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques

    • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques

    • Report and escalate to management as needed

    • Manage the relationship with the client and facility tenants

    • Perform risk management to minimize project risks

    • Establish and maintain relationships with subcontractor’s and vendors

    • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

    • Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project

    • Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members’ individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels

    • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals

    • Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis

    • Use and continually develop leadership skills

    • Attend conferences and meetings as required

    • Perform other related duties as assigned

    • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs

     

    Requirements:

    • Proven working experience in project management

    • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills

    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

    General Maintenance Worker - Skagway, AK Border Station

    Federal O&M Contractor seeking full-time Gen Mtnc Worker for Facilities Maintenance at Skagway Boarder Station. Must have 3 yrs recent exp. in facilities maintenance svcs in commercial/industrial facilities. Will be responsible to perform gen mtnc/repair of equip & bldgs using practical skill & knowledge of non-technical svcs such as painting carpentry, plumbing, masonry, electrical work. Must possess ability to communicate well with constituents, be self-motivated, conscientious, hardworking & honest. Must be willing to submit to a Security Background Check. **Housing is provided as part of employment package - Studio apartment provided for first year of employment; becomes the responsibility of the employee after one year.

    Details: This position is part of a Federal Service Contract Act policy; benefits are determined based on location of position. SCA provides an ‘earned’ Fringe Benefit (currently $5.09) that is used to provide Insurances if elected; if the premiums do not utilize the full earned value the remainder is contributed to the company 401K on the employee’s behalf. If insurance is waived the full earned benefit value will be contributed to our company 401K plan with 100% vested value as of first contribution.


    Work will include:
    Replace light fixture tubes; replace filters; clean mechanical spaces; repair electrical outlets, switches, fixtures and motors; repair walls, doors, windows, and ceilings; repair or replace sinks, water coolers, toilets, and faucets; touch-up painting on equipment and structures; replace damaged paneling and floor tiles; repair or replace doors, hardware, and locks; repair or replace concrete and masonry; perform general maintenance on equipment and machinery; and assist journeymen trades with mechanical maintenance activities.
