Job Summary
Northern Management Services Inc. is seeking a skilled and motivated Lead Carpenter / Working Superintendent to oversee and actively participate in construction projects across the Western United States. This role combines leadership responsibilities with hands-on construction work at commercial, natural, and historic project sites.
Projects are primarily located at National Parks, U.S. Fish & Wildlife sites, and United States Postal Service facilities, offering unique and rewarding work environments.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and lead daily field construction activitiesCoordinate with customers, vendors, and suppliersEnsure project timelines and budgets are metMaintain quality control standards across all phases of constructionPerform field documentation including daily logs and progress photosCommunicate effectively with customers and site personnelEnforce company policies, procedures, and safety standardsPerform hands-on carpentry and construction tasks including:Wood and metal framingConcrete forming and finishingFinish carpentryAdditional site work as needed to ensure project success
