We are hiring a Field Safety Representative to oversee the company's Environmental Health and Safety Programs at the project level. Projects are typically located throughout the Midwest, Northeast, and Southeast regions of the United States and can vary in duration from one month to several months, with some select projects being long term of a year of greater. Travel, lodging, and a meals per-diem are paid by the company.

Primary Focus:
Provides leadership, direction, and support in the development and execution of an effective safety culture and programs.Monitors safety compliance with our established Health and Safety Management System.Training and evaluation of best practices in right of way land clearing activity (Cutting, Heavy Equipment Operation, Fleet operation, etc.) Document and investigate incidents, injuries, and near misses. Conducts new employee safety training, and tailgate safety meetings.Ensure compliance with all company and client safety expectations. Provide Emergency Response Support and Guidance.Desired Skills:
Demonstrate ability to inspire, motivate and lead personnel in advancing the safety culture through an established Health and Safety Management System. 3 years of progressively responsible experience in construction safety.Degree, Diploma, or certificate in Occupational Health & Safety. Northern Clearing is looking to hire a full-time Service and Parts Manager to work in our Ashland, WI Office.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
As the Service and Parts Manager, you will support the day-to-day operations of the shop service department.
Monitor and manage work order repairs and status of work progress on equipment and machineryPrepare complete and accurate estimates of cost of labor and partsVerify and check final invoice reconciles with work performed on the work repair order Manage the process of reviewing, preparing, and submitting warranty claims as needed. Maintain accurate records of warranty work, including parts, labor, and claim status.Communicate equipment and machinery information effectively and efficiently to customers and vendors as neededAdditional duties and/or responsibilities will be determined by the shop manager.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate will have general mechanical knowledge of trucks, trailers, Skid Steers, Track Loaders, Mini Excavators and heavy equipment machinery.

Equipment Mechanic
Northern Clearing is looking to hire a full-time Equipment Mechanic to work in our Ashland, WI Shop.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
As an equipment mechanic, your role will be focused on preventative, diagnostic, and routine maintenance on Skid Steers, Track Loaders, and Mini Excavators. Duties include:
Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues using proper diagnostic tools. Disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment, to replace and update worn and broken parts as needed. This includes servicing equipment and components such as engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical and hydraulic systems. Maintain service records and work orders of equipment ensuring all completed work is documented within our work order system. Proficient skills and abilities to use computers and tablets for our work order software is preferred.SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate will have general mechanical knowledge in Skid Steers, Track Loaders, and Mini Excavators. Knowledge of diesel engine repair and maintenance is preferred.
The successful candidate will be a hard worker, have a can-do attitude, personable, punctual, and safety minded.
