Medical Assistant - Brookline, MA The Medical Assistant plays a pivotal role in supporting dermatology physicians by delivering high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include patient rooming, updating medical histories, documenting visit details, and assisting with various dermatological procedures such as biopsies, surgeries, and skin treatments. Pay range is $23 - $26 hourly. Hours are Monday - Friday, 8 hours daily. To perform effectively in this role, the candidate must fulfill the following duties with or without reasonable accommodations: Collaborate with a team to manage an average patient volume of up to 40 patients daily. Document patient histories, including history of present illness (HPI), medical, surgical, and family history, medications, and allergies. Prepare and assist with dermatological and cosmetic procedures, including ED reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, or crawl. Occasionally lift, push, pull, or move up to 20 pounds. Vision Requirements: Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
