Northeast Community Clinic (NECC), a major FQHC with multi-specialty outpatient clinics located throughout Los Angeles County is seeking dedicated and mission-oriented Endocrinologist for our clinic located in Downtown Los Angeles.
Schedule:
Full-time: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMPosition Summary:
The Endocrinologist is a member of the interdisciplinary health care team which functions to meet the objectives of the programs in Northeast Community Clinic. The Endocrinologist will be responsible for providing complete clinical care for all patients under the direction of the Medical Director and by written protocols. Endocrinologist works in conjunction with the Medical Director in implementing and maintaining quality care programs.
We provide critically needed primary care to the underserved and uninsured populations throughout the Los Angeles area. We have a multidisciplinary team consisting of Family Medicine Physicians, Pediatricians, Internist, Endocrinologist, Dentists, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, and Licensed Clinical Social Workers dedicated to the treatment of our primary care patients. We see 180,000 visits a year for 48,000 patients.

Position Summary
The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for the daily administration of the company’s time & attendance system and the processing of payroll. This position is also responsible for year-end payroll reporting and ensuring payroll tax payments are in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local tax laws. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to creating various financial reports and reconciling payroll related general ledgers accounts.

Responsible for the auditing, processing, and transmitting of semi-monthly payroll.Calculates wages, process payments, ensure accuracy and timely distribution of paychecks and direct deposits.Responsible for entering and ensuring accuracy of health benefit deductions, tax withholdings, garnishments, 403 b contributions, Continuing Education (CE), and anniversary dates.Records changes affecting net wages, such as exemptions, insurance coverage, garnishments, etc. for each employee to update the master payroll records.Handles and monitors the use of the electronic timekeeping system within the framework of authorization and access rights.Maintains payroll information and related documentation such as time sheets, hours worked, approved salaries, benefits, vacation and sick time accruals.Maintain any and all data concerning changes in employee status such as transferring from departments and/or sites, job or pay changes.Prepares and applies accounting standard to all financial matters.Prepare payroll reports for management and assist in payroll audits.Address employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, leave balances and all other questions relating to employee payments.Maintain a positive working relationship with staff and interact with employees at all levelsMust be knowledgeable of both Federal and State tax laws and employment laws.Ensures compliance with tax laws and labor regulations, including filing necessary tax documents and regulatory reports.Interact extensively with payroll provider, ensures prompt update of software and organization’s payroll procedures.Attend departmental meetings as necessary.May perform other clerical and accounting duties as assigned by the Controller, Finance Director, or Executive Director

• Conducts new hire orientations.
• Maintains and updates the PRF Tracking Log, Provider Interview Log, and Applicant Tracking Log

• Interviews, screens, and hires job applicants for all vacant positions.
• Develops working relationships with career colleges and administers externship process.
• Coordinates interviews between applicants and hiring managers.
