    We are looking for a medical biller for a family practice to work in office. The medical biller must be proficient in full cycle billing, collecting, posting, managing account payments, preparing, submitting clearinghouse claims to insurance companies both paper and electronically, and following up on claims. We are looking for a medical biller that pays attention to detail, can multi-task and has good communications skills. The medical biller also needs to have experience with credentialing and compliance. He/she will also assist in administration duties when needed. Nextgen knowledge a plus.

    Required Qualifications

    Must have previous experience as a Medical Assistant in a family practice or primary care setting.Must have graduated from a certified medical assistant programStrong understanding of triage and clinical workflowsExceptional attention to detail and accuracyAbility to think quickly and work effectively under pressureResourceful mindset — able to seek answers and resolutions when information is unknownConfident enough to ask questions when in doubt and never guess in patient careStrong sense of responsibility and understanding of why clinical tasks must be done correctly
