    Summary:
    The purpose of this position is to maintain and repair all electrical systems owned by the NTTA. This is accomplished by PM inspection, Customer Service Request, planned work, special projects and emergency repairs. Secondary is new construction. Other duties include referencing drawings for the location of various components compiling electrical systems, locating, and marking utilities for contractors and advising contractors on NTTA requirements for the installation of electrical systems. Must be able to understand and follow oral and written instructions, must be able to document work activity including labor and supplies using CMMS computer program, must be able to document work time using CMMS computer program. Must be able to communicate effectively using the telephone or two-way radio. Will be required to work scheduled shift during Snow and Ice events performing various tasks as assigned.
    This is a designated essential employee position as defined in the NTTA Employee Handbook which required to maintain agency operations during an emergency or inclement weather situations. The position is also required to be on call a week at a time from Sunday to Sunday on a rotating schedule.
    This is a Safety-Sensitive Position as defined in the NTTA Employee Handbook.


    Responsibilities:
    • Maintains and completes routine and emergency repairs by inspecting and troubleshooting electrical systems, locating underground electrical circuits, locating damaged electrical conductors, and making repairs as required.
    • Trouble-shoots motor control circuits and associated equipment. Reads and evaluates blueprints, interprets the National Electrical Code in relation to NTTA projects and contractor projects and orders equipment and supplies.
    • Installs various types of electrical systems including new construction and special projects/systems, and the remodel of and modification to existing systems as necessary.
    • Inspects contractor work and on occasion completes items not covered under the scope of the contractor’s contract.
    • Completes job assignments by operating vehicles and equipment during inclement weather conditions, making minor repairs to property and equipment, setting and monitoring goals and objectives, and maintaining costs.
    • Performs hand excavation of trenches and digging as required.

    Qualifications:
    Minimum:
    • High School Diploma or GED.
    • State of Texas Journeyman Electricians’ license.
    • At least three years of experience in electrical construction.
    • A valid Texas Class “C” Driver’s license.
    • Ability to get Texas Class “B” Commercial Driver’s License within 12 months of hire.


    Preferred:
    • A valid Texas Class “B” Commercial Driver’s license.

Coordinates incident response by receiving and transmitting radio, push-to-talk, and telephone calls.     · Prioritizes and routes emergency calls to fire, police, and emergency medical services. This often results in a high volume of calls, many of which involve accidents, the position must quickly, calmly, and properly handle and document the incident.

    · Gathers information from callers including location, nature, severity, and status of emergencies.

    · Assists first responders by relaying information regarding calls for service.

    · Documents and corrects location errors in CAD (Computer Assisted Dispatch).

    · Notifies appropriate entities related to problems or complaints.

    · Enters, maintains, updates and research information in the Local, State, and National Law Enforcement Telecommunications Systems.

    Summary:

    The purpose of this position is to provide professional maintenance of NTTA’s roadways, turf, and associated roadway components (guardrails, attenuators, storm drains, etc.) within the Agency’s maintenance limits. This is accomplished by removing litter/debris along the roadway, performing turf maintenance activities, performing erosion repairs, performing pavement repairs and other minor construction projects, assisting with inspections and other preventative maintenance activities, responding to emergencies (vehicular accidents, weather emergencies, etc.), as well as other activities associated with improving the appearance and condition of the system. The Laborer – Roadway will drive and operate various sizes/types of mowers, light/medium duty trucks, forklifts, loaders, snow and ice equipment, and various other vehicles and equipment to accomplish tasks. Other duties include assisting with lane closures and completing special projects as assigned.

Performs concrete & asphalt pavement repairs and other repair/construction tasks.Removes of all litter, debris, and unwanted items within NTTA’s maintenance limits. This will include but not limited to the traveled lanes, shoulders, grass covered and slope areas.Participates in Snow and Ice Events by preparing, operating, and cleaning various pieces of equipment and vehicles.Removes, replaces, and repairs concrete median barriers, bridge rails, and other vertical concrete elements.Assists with the installation, removal, repair, replacement, and/or rotation of signs.Safely operates designated vehicles, tools, and equipment to perform assigned tasks.Responds to emergencies, especially Snow and Ice Operations.     Summary:

    Provides professional landscape maintenance of the Authority’s perishable landscape assets on an assigned Tollway. This is accomplished by removing litter/debris, weeding, performing activities related to landscape maintenance, and other activities associated with improving the appearance and condition of the landscape. The Maintenance Tech II – Landscape operates equipment including dump trucks, tractors, forklifts, front end loaders, skid loaders, and various other pieces of heavy equipment as required. The position also includes operating push mowers, zero turn mowers, string trimmers, edgers, aerators, and various other pieces of landscape equipment. Other duties include making landscape modifications; tree/shrub trimming, plant replacement or installation, or installation and landscape bed construction. In addition, the proper use and application of pesticides including herbicides, insecticides and disease mitigation chemicals will be a function of this position. Assisting others within the Landscape Division with landscape inspections and preventive maintenance activities will also be required of this position.

    Responsibilities:

    Removes all litter, debris, and unwanted items within NTTA’s landscape limits.Landscape maintenance including but not limited to removing weeds, replacing mulch, applying fertilizer, and repairing erosion damage.Performs blowing, edging, weed eating, brush and tree trimming, chipping and removal of brush and trees.Assists with the installation, removal and/or replacement of landscape material to include replacement of ornamental grasses, shrubs and trees as required to maintain landscape as originally designed.Under the direction of a licensed pesticide applicator, apply pre and post herbicides and insecticides.Assist irrigation technician or licensed irrigator in landscape irrigation repairs.Participates in Snow and Ice Events by preparing, operating, and cleaning various pieces of equipment and vehicles.Operates and inspects of all NTTA equipment, tools, and vehicles, before and after use.     Qualifications:

    Minimum:

    · Level of knowledge equivalent of 4 years’ high school education

    · Up to 1 year of experience

    · Valid Class “C” driver’s license (ability to obtain Texas Class “C” within 30 days of hire)

    · Ability to obtain Class “B” CDL within 12 months of hire

    Summary:

    Provides professional landscape maintenance of the Authority’s perishable landscape assets on an assigned Tollway. This is accomplished by removing litter/debris, weeding, performing activities related to landscape maintenance, and other activities associated with improving the appearance and condition of the landscape. The Maintenance Tech II – Landscape operates equipment including dump trucks, tractors, forklifts, front end loaders, skid loaders, and various other pieces of heavy equipment as required. The position also includes operating push mowers, zero turn mowers, string trimmers, edgers, aerators, and various other pieces of landscape equipment. Other duties include making landscape modifications; tree/shrub trimming, plant replacement or installation, or installation and landscape bed construction. In addition, the proper use and application of pesticides including herbicides, insecticides and disease mitigation chemicals will be a function of this position. Assisting others within the Landscape Division with landscape inspections and preventive maintenance activities will also be required of this position.

     

    This is a designated Essential Employee position as defined in the NTTA Employee Handbook. An essential employee is one whose attendance is required to maintain agency operations during an emergency or inclement weather situation.

    Responsibilities:

    Removes all litter, debris, and unwanted items within NTTA’s landscape limits.Landscape maintenance including but not limited to removing weeds, replacing mulch, applying fertilizer, and repairing erosion damage.Performs blowing, edging, weed eating, brush and tree trimming, chipping and removal of brush and trees.Assists with the installation, removal and/or replacement of landscape material to include replacement of ornamental grasses, shrubs and trees as required to maintain landscape as originally designed.Under the direction of a licensed pesticide applicator, apply pre and post herbicides and insecticides.Assist irrigation technician or licensed irrigator in landscape irrigation repairs.Participates in Snow and Ice Events by preparing, operating, and cleaning various pieces of equipment and vehicles.Operates and inspects of all NTTA equipment, tools, and vehicles, before and after use. Reports any damage and/or failures in accordance with established procedures.

     

    Qualifications:
