    We have a need for a Property Accountant with a minimum of 3 years experience, and a preference for real estate or property management experience. A strong proficiency in property management software (i.e. Yardi) is preferred. The ideal candidate will be a self starter and able to meet month end reporting schedules in a fast-paced setting.

    QualificationsProficiency in Yardi Voyager and Property Management accountants highly desired.Professionalism as well as excellent oral and written communication skills are required.Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills with strong attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.High School Diploma / Degree in Accounting * Client service oriented * Strong analytical skills a must * 10-key by touch, MS Word, MS Excel, and Outlook * Confident, proactive, and assertive * Exceptional organizational skills *Experience performing full cycle accounting and month end close * Ability to work efficiently and accurately with the ability to prioritize and maintain strong follow-up skills
    Primary ResponsibilitiesPrepare monthly financial statements for assigned engagements, using knowledge of chart of accounts, trial balance, journal entry processingEnsure the accuracy and timeliness of daily revenue reporting and financial recordsAccounts Payable, ensuring invoices are valid, coded correctly, have appropriate approvals and vendors are paid on a timely basisGeneral Ledger and reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts each monthMonthly bank reconciliations as well as daily Treasury Management duties at various banks/ property accountsMonthly accrualsPrepare prepaid expenses and associated monthly journal entriesAssist with analysis of Financial Statements to budget and ensure variances and / or extraordinary expenses are identified and explainedAssist with cash projection and funding requestsDetermine status of both real and personal property taxes, making sure payments are timelyWork with Controller on a daily basis for property cash management and all other issuesPrepare all necessary compliance reporting. Additional Responsibilities

    Depending on the specific engagement, responsibilities may also include:

    Primary contact for assigned engagements where a 3rd party management company is being utilizedEnsure the timely completion of Month End and release of final financials for every property per the reporting schedule and lender requirementsEnsure bank reconciliation by 3rd party accounting service providers are done and are correctInitiate wires, transfers, and ACH’s as neededWork with Controller to ensure timely setup of operating, MM and security deposit bank accountsManaging of on-line banking for assigned propertiesAssist Controller with audit/tax requirementsAssist in preparation of annual auditsPrep year end accounting and all required compliance reporting for various governmental entitiesPrepare monthly statements for assigned commercial property tenants.Compensation & Benefits

    Salary: $70,000-$100,000 annually (DOE)

    Maintenance Technician

    Summary:

    The Maintenance Technician’s primary responsibility is to assist in maintaining the overall physical condition of the property they are assigned to support. This includes performing general maintenance and repair tasks, assisting on-site maintenance team, coordinating with vendors as directed, and helping ensure each property is maintained in a safe, clean, and market-ready condition while providing coverage where operational needs require.

    Responsibilities:

    Responds to the intake of all work orders in a professional and timely manner.Review’s scope of work that needs to be completed, assigns the request to the appropriate service provider and follows through on completion of work.Addresses emergency work orders after hours and on weekends, as necessary.Sources and negotiates pricing with outside service providers.Manages maintenance and repair expenses in an efficient and cost-effective manner.Adheres to company policies and federal regulations.Maintenance/upkeep of common areas, building exteriors, unit interiors, and grounds.Vacant unit preparation.Report and document property damage, resident incidents, and liability issues.Other duties as required.

    Qualifications:
