    What You'll Do

    As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will play a key role in ensuring our manufacturing equipment operates efficiently and safely, helping prevent downtime and supporting production goals.

    Key ResponsibilitiesFollow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.Troubleshoot machinery and implement corrective actions.Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.Remove, modify, repair, and replace machine components as needed.Order replacement parts in accordance with company procedures.Perform ARC and MIG welding.Execute torch cutting and metal fabrication projects.Work with pipe fittings and related systems.Learn and operate production equipment as needed.Troubleshoot and perform electrical work.Program, modify, and troubleshoot PLCs and drives.Use laptops and diagnostic tools to identify equipment issues.Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.Train and support new maintenance team members.Contribute to continuous improvement efforts that increase equipment reliability and operational efficiency.What We're Looking For

    Position Summary

    North Coast Container is seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our maintenance team in Charlotte, NC. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and improving electrical systems and production equipment throughout our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will also possess basic to intermediate mechanical maintenance skills to assist with equipment repairs, preventative maintenance, and production support.
