    Position Summary: Provide course instruction in accordance with institutionally-approved learning outcomes.


    Essential Functions: Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    · Model effective oral and written communication that engages students, provides clarity, and improves student learning.

    Requirements:

    Qualifications:


    Education: Instructors teaching general education/transfer areas must hold a Master’s degree in area of assignment, or any Master’s degree with at least 18 hours of graduate courses in area of concentration. Instructors teaching in career/technical areas must hold a Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent professional experience in the field.


    Experience: Prefer individual who has taught courses at the college level to include distance and online learning in a technology-oriented environment. Must have a commitment to teaching excellence.


    Skills: Proven organizational, analytical and time management skills. Ability to build relationships and maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Strong verbal, written, and communication skills.


    Physical Demands: Moving about between buildings on the NCMC campus; reaching, pulling, and pushing when filing; able to do repetitive tasks; remain stationary at a desk while typing; teaching in a classroom setting for extended periods.

    Position Summary

    The Part-Time Driver is responsible for safely transporting college students, faculty, and staff using college-owned or leased vehicles to scheduled destinations. This role supports college activities by ensuring dependable, timely, and professional transportation services while representing the college in a courteous and responsible manner. The position is based at the Trenton, Missouri main campus and requires travel to multiple locations, with hours varying according to institutional needs.


    CLASSIFICATION: Part-time
    DEPARTMENT: Transportation
    REPORTS TO: Transportation Coordinator
    FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
    CONTRACT TERMS: Part-Time, as needed
    LOCATION: Trenton, Missouri-Main Campus, travel to multiple sites
    SHIFT: hours will vary depending on need


    Essential Functions: Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    · Safely drive college vehicles (owned or leased) on scheduled trips to arranged destinations.

    · Ensure proper completion of trip logs.

    · Be able to work a variety of hours, times, and days as needed based on college activities.

    · Represent NCMC in a professional and courteous manner.

    · Fuel bus upon return of each trip.

    · Be subject to a drug screen and physical.

    · Subject to DOT drug testing. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.

    Requirements:

    Qualifications:

    Education: High school Diploma or GED. Valid driver’s license and appropriate certifications for all college vehicles. (CDL, CLASS B or A w/ Passenger Endorsement. Air-Brake endorsement helpful but not required)


    Experience: Prefer previous driving experience.


    Skills: Proficient at operating a variety of commercial transportation vehicles. Ability to work with students and a variety of personnel.


    Physical Demands: Move up to a 75 pounds; remain stationary for extended periods of time while driving; moving about between buildings/vehicles; ascending and descending stairs; reaching, pulling, and pushing cleaning equipment and luggage/bags; able to do repetitive tasks. Significant travel required. Must be able to travel and operate a vehicle independently without assistance.

    · Work concession stand at community events, basketball games, and recreational activities

    · Work admissions gate at events, collect money and verify passes

    · Assist in crowd control and flow as needed

    Position Summary: Teach and evaluate students in clinical settings at various medical facilities.

    · Review and understand the course objectives, both classroom and clinical, and apply the teaching techniques to best achieve course and program objectives.

    · Model effective oral and written communication that engages the students, provides clarity, and improves student learning.

    · Discuss with students their concerns and/or problems directly or indirectly related to learning experience.

    · Is responsible to assist the student to develop an understanding of values, attitudes, and ideals appropriate to the health care profession.

    · Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing clinical sites.

    · Supervising care provided by a group of students (usually 6 to 10 students in a group) while they complete their clinical rotation in your area of specialty.

    · Coordinate with clinicians at the clinical site to make student patient assignments.

    · Orient students to the clinical area, and demonstrates proper procedures.

    · Lead discussions and elicit information from students which demonstrate that students are learning and accomplishing the clinical objectives.

    · Teach students how to perform duties in the clinical site and answering their questions.

    · Maintain clinical standards and course expectations throughout each course or term.

    · Evaluate and grade student performance.

    · Maintain the professional practice knowledge base needed to instruct learners in contemporary nursing practice.

    · Communicate with Lab Coordinator or Program Coordinator as necessary to resolve issues or concerns in clinical areas.

    · Work effectively as part of the overall faculty team demonstrating positive interpersonal relations, collaborating with other faculty members to meet student needs, participating in faculty meetings and nursing program committees, and responding to requests from management.

    · Participate in ongoing program evaluation activities as needed.

    · Maintain faculty expectations as required by the College and the Board of Nursing.

    · Clinical Instructors may be subject to vaccination requirements established by clinical sites to conduct on-site instruction for NCMC.

    Requirements:

    Qualifications:

    Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Credentials must be unencumbered with the Missouri State Board of Nursing.

    · Please note, those desiring to provide clinical instruction in our PN-ADN (RN program), who do not hold a Master’s of Science in Nursing will be required to actively pursue their graduate degree in nursing within three years of employment and complete their degree within five years.

    Requirements: Successful completion of criminal background check and drug screening, required current CPR certification. Provide evidence of immunizations as per nursing program policy

    Experience: Two years of clinical practice, administration, or education.

    Skills: Strong communication skills. Provide sound evidence of effective teaching ability and management. Possess creative, innovative, and diverse approaches to teaching. Ability to develop interpersonal relationships with faculty, students, and cooperating agencies.

    Physical Demands: Moving about while instructing and demonstrating skills to students; reaching, pulling, and pushing while demonstrating while using medical equipment; able to do repetitive tasks; remain stationary at a desk while typing; teaching in a medical facility setting for extended periods.
