    Job Summary

    Provides age specific patient care and assessment. Assists in the maintenance of patient mammography information. Performs diagnostic and screening mammography examinations. Assists radiologist with mammography procedures.

    Education

    Completion of a two or four year program in Radiologic Technology accredited by the American Medical Association

    Experience

    One year experience in Radiography, and/or one year experience in Mammography. Stereotactic experience preferred.

    Licensure/Certification

    Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Mammography required. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or retraining is required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment.

    Compensation

    Qualifications

    Education

    Completion of an accredited two-year or four-year program in radiologic technology, accredited by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) or the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).

    Experience

    One (1) year of experience as a registered radiologic technologist preferred. Additional one (1) year of CT experience preferred.

    Licensure/Certification

    American Registry of Radiologist Technology registered or registry eligible. Advanced registry in CT required within 18 months of orientation. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained through re-training for duration of employment. IV certification required before or during new hire orientation.

    Compensation
