Role Summary
We are hiring an experienced Exterior Operations Crew Lead to run a two-person exterior maintenance team supporting short-term rental and residential properties. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for quality control, scheduling, task execution, photo verification, equipment care, and crew accountability.
You are not just cutting grass. You are protecting guest experience and asset value across a growing hospitality portfolio.
Primary Responsibilities
Lead a two-person crew across multiple properties weekly (mostly located at the Beaches). You are one of the crew members.
Execute and oversee:
Mowing, edging, trimming, blowing, weeding
Shrub and hedge trimming
Trash bin placement and return
Patio, porch, and common area resets
Seasonal mulch and bed maintenance
Light exterior labor (furniture moves, debris hauling, rock installs)
Exterior pest control spot treatments
Enforce daily route schedules and completion standards
Take and submit photo verification for every property
Identify and report:
Damage
Safety hazards
Guest-impacting issues
Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment
Train, direct, and correct crew performance
Maintain professional on-site conduct at all times
Coordinate storm and hurricane prep as directed
Required Experience & Skills
Prior experience leading a landscaping or property maintenance crew
Strong knowledge of:
Commercial mowing equipment
Edgers, trimmers, blowers
Ability to manage:
Daily routes
Job priorities
Quality control
Clear communicator
Comfortable using apps like: Slack, Asana, WhatsApp, texting, or basic field apps
Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving history
Must be physically capable of full outdoor labor
Physical & Environmental Requirements
Lift and carry 50+ lbs
Continuous bending, walking, stooping
Daily outdoor work in extreme heat/humidity
