The Cardio Group Fitness Instructor is a dynamic and enthusiastic fitness professional who is passionate about leading group exercise sessions. This role requires the ability to design engaging workouts and adapt exercises to ensure an inclusive and motivating experience for participants of all skill levels.Essential Duties and FunctionsDesign and plan class curriculum and conduct group instruction in areas of expertise.Utilize your expertise to modify exercises and activities, tailoring each class to accommodate a wide range of skill levels. Ensure participant safety through each session, ensuring that exercises are performed with proper form and technique. Maintain a clean and well-organized fitness space and ensure all equipment are in top condition.RequirementsPosition RequirementsMust hold current certification in Group Exercise or a Specialty certification from an accredited organization such as ACSM, CSCS, NASM, NETA, ACE, AFAA, NSCA, or a similar recognized organization.Current certification in CPR/AED and First Aid is required. Essential Duties and FunctionsDevelop and lead engaging aquatic exercise classes. Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and ensure that all participants are performing exercises safely and effectively. Adapt and modify exercises to meet the diverse needs and abilities of all participants. Ensure all safety and well-being of all class members by maintaining vigilance and adhering to safety protocols. Maintain and care for all aquatic equipment, ensuring that everything is in excellent working condition. RequirementsPosition RequirementsMust be a Certified Instructor (AEA, ACE, AFAA), with a water specialty/certification preferred.Current certification in CPR/AED and First Aid is required. 1-2 years of experience teaching Aquatic exercise classes.     Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Lifeguard position is responsible for ensuring the safety of all swimmers and pool visitors by actively monitoring the pool area, enforcing safety rules, and responding quickly to emergencies. This role includes promoting water safety, enforcing park rules, and providing excellent customer service. Lifeguards are expected to have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Essential Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesMonitor pool areas, water attractions, and surrounding areas to ensure the safety of all residents and guests.Respond immediately to emergencies, including water rescues, first aid incidents, or any other safety concerns. Enforce all safety rules and regulations in a firm but courteous manner to prevent accidents or injuries. Perform opening tasks such as leaf blowing and seeping the pool deck and surrounding areas to maintain cleanliness. Inspect and clean restrooms to ensure they are stocked and ready for use. Perform closing duties such as cleaning the restrooms at the end of each shift to ensure they are ready for use the next day. Take out trash and recyclables from pool areas and surrounding park spaces ensuring a neat and tidy facility. Maintain a professional and approachable demeanor at all times, interacting with residents, guests, and staff respectfully and courteously. RequirementsPosition RequirementsNocatee Lifeguards are required to attain a Red Cross Lifeguard Certification. The Red Cross requires that participants are 15 years old or will be by the time class ends.An existing Red Cross Lifeguard Certification is accepted but must be able to pass our assessment (Lifeguard skills and CPR)Classes are hosted January, February, April, May, and June.Passing the class does not guarantee employment in Nocatee.Ability to work in various weather conditions and under direct sunlight.Must be able to stand and sit for long periods of time. Dig trenches and pits to install, repair, and maintain underground irrigation pipes and sprinkler systems in diverse landscapes such as gardens and lawns.
