Position Overview
We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager / Permit Manager to join our team immediately! You will be responsible for running a few small construction jobs and all permitting aspects for our over 25 current jobs. This is a salaried position, and your salary will be based on your current experience!
Key APM Responsibilities
Manage all phases of commercial construction projects (Pre-Construction through closeout)Develop and maintain project schedulesPrepare and manage project budgets and cost trackingCoordinate subcontractors, vendors, architects, and engineersLead project meetings and provide clear communication to clients and internal teamsReview drawings and specifications for accuracy and constructabilityProcess RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applicationsEnsure compliance with safety standards and company policiesMaintain strong client relationships and provide proactive problem-solving
APM Qualifications
Experience with restaurant, retail, and/or industrial projects a plusStrong understanding of construction documents and building systemsProficiency in construction management software (Procore, Buildertrend, or similar)Ability to manage multiple small projects simultaneouslyExcellent organizational and communication skillsBudgeting and cost-control experience
Key Permit Manager Responsibilities
In charge of all commercial construction permitting for our firm, which will include obtaining all documents from clients and/or all city and county municipalities.Draft correspondence and other formal documentsAnswer inbound permitting telephone callsUpdate the detailed permit report weekly for all office staffWork closely with all Project Managers and project Superintendents so jobs run smoothly and finish on timeDevelop and maintain project schedules

Previous Construction permitting A MUST!!Ability to prioritize and multitaskExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detailStrong organizational skillsNotary is a huge plus!

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from Pre-Construction through closeout. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record managing restaurants, retail, interior buildouts, Tiltwall, Metal Buildings, Government and Public Work, and/or industrial projects.
This position requires someone who can manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality, schedule, and budget control.
Key Responsibilities
