We are seeking an experienced litigation attorney to litigate personal injury cases in El Paso.
Responsibilities:
Preparation, filing, and service of pleadings, motions, deposition notices, discovery requests, as well as responses and objections
Maintain calendar and case docketing system
Prepare and present clients for depositions
Prepare and conduct Defendant and expert depositions
Attend court hearings and mediations
Attend status conferences, docket calls, pre-trial and trial
Collaborate with partner attorneys on case progress and strategy
Submit regular progress reports on case status
Negotiating with insurance companies
Qualifications:
Bilingual (Spanish) required
Minimum of 2 years of personal injury litigation experience and/or trial experience
Proficiency in Texas Rules of Civil Procedure, Remedies Code, and Rules of Evidence
Experience with eFiling on Txcourts.gov
Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Licensed to practice law in Texas
Willingness to travel to Houston for onboarding, training, and meetings/team building events

Pay: $130,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
